CDA launches operation against encroachments in the National Park Hills area

The illegal constructions were demolished by the enforcement staff who were assisted by the Islamabad police. The constructions demolished included a room and a ‘chappar’ hotel at Saidpur village in the foothills of Margalla. Another operation was also led by them in the Darah area of the national park, where two illegally constructed houses were razed. In Kundian Village, a newly constructed house was demolished with the use of heavy machinery, and action was also taken against a den of buffaloes in the Mal Dheri Area.

A spokesperson of CDA said it was their priority to protect and maintain the beauty of the margalla hills intact

غیر قانونی تعمیرات کو انفورسمنٹ عملے نے مسمار کیا جنہیں اسلام آباد پولیس کی مدد حاصل تھی۔ گرائی گئی تعمیرات میں مارگلہ کے دامن میں سید پور گاؤں میں ایک کمرہ اور ایک 'چھپر' ہوٹل شامل ہے۔ ان کی قیادت میں ایک اور آپریشن نیشنل پارک کے علاقے درہ میں بھی کیا گیا جہاں غیر قانونی طور پر تعمیر کیے گئے دو مکانات مسمار کر دیے گئے۔ کندیاں گاؤں میں نیا تعمیر شدہ مکان بھاری مشینری کے استعمال سے مسمار کر دیا گیا، مال ڈھیری کے علاقے میں بھینسوں کے اڈے کے خلاف بھی کارروائی کی گئی۔
سی ڈی اے کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ مارگلہ کی پہاڑیوں کی خوبصورتی کو برقرار رکھنا ان کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔
