CDA introduces a special app to ensure provision of basic amenities
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced a special app to ensure the provision of basic civic amenities to the residents of Islamabad at their doorsteps on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, as reported by the news sources.
The app has been formally launched by the PM Khan himself at a very simple event. Through this special app, as much as forty-three different facilities will be provided to the residents by using the information technology. These include amongst others e-policing, emergency services, domicile, identity card, the record of ownership, arms licenses, registration of vehicles, payment of token taxes and issuance of birth and death certificates.
For the smooth provision of these facilities, Islamabad Administration, National Information Technology Board, and NADRA are working in collaboration with the CDA. The initiative is aimed at providing relief to the people from the inconveniences caused by long queues and wait at the government departments.
