Islamabad: On directives of the Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), the Member Administration visited the Capital Hospital and inspected all the arrangements made by the hospital management to cope with coronavirus.
On this occasion, the Executive Director of Capital Hospital, doctors, and paramedical staff were also present. Speaking at the occasion, the Member Administration apprised that in order to cope with the situation arising due to coronavirus, the hospital has made immediate arrangements in line with the instructions of authority. He was informed that the general clinic and coronavirus screening clinic has been established in the hospital.
28 doctors have been deputed to perform the duty around the clock with the consultation of Islamabad Administration. Moreover, an isolation ward comprising of 5 rooms has also been established in the hospital. The inspection committee was informed that after the screening, coronavirus patient is referred to PIMS if required for further cure. It was further informed that ventilators in the hospital have been made functional.
