CDA has no landscaping plans on Islamabad-Srinagar highways

The Green and serene road that was once as the symbol of Islamabad are now reminiscent of past times. The major reason behind this inconvenience is declared to be the slackness of the city managers who were working without a vision of landscaping plans even on papers for its two major highways that were being utilized by thousands of motorists on a daily basis.

It is an exceptional time for the authorities to carry out the beautification measures in Islamabad, especially at 25 kilo-meters Srinagar Highway and 28 Kilo-Meter Islamabad Expressway to make sure that the clean environment on the major arteries of the city is being provided.

Currently, there are two civic authorities in the Federal Capital-the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MIC)-that ought to take eco-friendly and beautification initiatives in the city but both of them lacked a concrete beautification plan for both the arteries.

حکام کے لئے یہ ایک غیر معمولی وقت ہے کہ وہ اسلام آباد میں خصوصا 25 25 کلو میٹر سرینگر ہائی وے اور 28 کلو میٹر اسلام آباد ایکسپریس وے پر خوبصورتی کے اقدامات انجام دیں تاکہ یہ یقینی بنایا جا سکے کہ شہر کی بڑی شریانوں پر صاف ستھرا ماحول فراہم کیا جارہا ہے۔

فی الحال ، فیڈرل کیپیٹل - کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) اور میٹرو پولیٹن کارپوریشن اسلام آباد (ایم آئی سی) میں دو شہری انتظامیہ موجود ہیں۔ اسے شہر میں ماحول دوست اور خوبصورتی کے اقدامات کرنے چاہئیں لیکن ان دونوں کے لئے ایک ٹھوس خوبصورتی منصوبے کا فقدان تھا۔
