CDA body approves Rs2.96bn projects

The Capital Development Authority Development Working Party meeting with CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed in the chair okayed Rs800 million for the establishment of the Geospatial Technology Wing in the CDA.

According to the news sources, the purpose to establish this wing is to make the authority self-sufficient in the acquisition of land and management of different land-related matters.

According to details, CDADWP approved PC-1 of modern traffic management solution project worth Rs 1.385 billion on Kashmir Chowk, Murree Road. Similarly, the meeting also approved PC-2 of Rs70 million for Conducting Survey and Proposal Development/ Zoning Planning in Islamabad.

A PC-1 of Rs95 million was also approved for enhancing the efficiency of the city sewerage division and the purchase of modern equipment and overall maintenance of city sewerage. Additionally, the meeting also approved PC-1 of Rs99 million for the construction and installation of entry and exit doors in the Diplomatic Enclave in Sector G-5 of Islamabad.

According to the details, Rs34 million for the construction of a monument to recognize the sacrifices of paramedical staff who sacrificed their lives in the fight against coronavirus in Islamabad.

The meeting also okayed PC-1 of Rs357 million for upgrading the existing infrastructure of the Islamabad Fruit and Vegetable Market.

اسلام آباد: سی ڈی اے ڈی ڈبلیو پی نے اپنے 55ویں اجلاس میں مختلف ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے 2.96 بلین روپے کے پی سی-1 کی منظوری دی۔
کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی کے چیئرمین سی ڈی اے عامر علی احمد کی صدارت میں اجلاس میں سی ڈی اے میں جیو اسپیشل ٹیکنالوجی ونگ کے قیام کے لیے 800 ملین روپے کی منظوری دی گئی۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اس ونگ کے قیام کا مقصد اتھارٹی کو اراضی کے حصول اور اراضی سے متعلق مختلف معاملات کے انتظام میں خود کفیل بنانا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق سی ڈی اے ڈی ڈبلیو پی نے کشمیر چوک مری روڈ پر 1.385 بلین روپے کے جدید ٹریفک مینجمنٹ سلوشن پروجیکٹ کے پی سی-1 کی منظوری دی۔ اسی طرح اجلاس نے اسلام آباد میں سروے اور پروپوزل ڈویلپمنٹ/زوننگ پلاننگ کے انعقاد کے لیے 70 ملین روپے کے پی سی-2 کی بھی منظوری دی۔
سٹی سیوریج ڈویژن کی کارکردگی کو بڑھانے اور جدید آلات کی خریداری اور شہر کے سیوریج کی مجموعی دیکھ بھال کے لیے 95 ملین روپے کے پی سی ون کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ مزید برآں، اجلاس نے اسلام آباد کے سیکٹر جی-5 میں ڈپلومیٹک انکلیو میں داخلی اور خارجی دروازوں کی تعمیر اور تنصیب کے لیے 99 ملین روپے کے پی سی-1 کی بھی منظوری دی۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اسلام آباد میں کورونا وائرس کے خلاف جنگ میں اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے والے پیرا میڈیکل اسٹاف کی قربانیوں کو تسلیم کرنے کے لیے یادگار کی تعمیر کے لیے 34 ملین روپے کی منظوری دی گئی۔
اجلاس میں اسلام آباد فروٹ اینڈ ویجیٹیبل مارکیٹ کے موجودہ انفراسٹرکچر کو اپ گریڈ کرنے کے لیے 357 ملین روپے کے پی سی ون کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔
