ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has decided to Islamabad tourist-friendly, make the libraries operational, and conduct activities that prominent and promote the national culture during the newly-formed CDA Board meeting.
It was decided in the meeting to make Islamabad very attractive that it becomes tourist’s friendly city in Pakistan. More activities related to nature and tourism will be conducted here. Special guidance will be provided to tourists towards the available facilities. On the other hand, the importance of visiting historical spots in Islamabad and its environs will also be highlighted.
It was also decided in the meeting that the existing libraries in the city would be made operational and open for the general public. It will promote the book reading habit in the young generation. Other important steps for highlighting the national culture of Pakistan will also be taken by the authority.
The board meeting also reviewed the sanitation situation in the city and directed to further improve the sanitation system. Instructions were also issued to expedite and improve the efforts being made for the rehabilitation of the road infrastructure of the city.
اسلام آباد: دارالحکومت ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی نے اسلام آباد کے سیاحوں کو دوست بنانے ، لائبریریوں کو چلانے اور ان سرگرمیوں کا انعقاد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے جو نئی تشکیل شدہ سی ڈی اے بورڈ کے اجلاس کے دوران قومی ثقافت کو نمایاں اور فروغ دیں گے۔
اجلاس میں اسلام آباد کو بہت پرکشش بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ یہ سیاحوں کا دوست پاکستان کا شہر بن جائے۔ یہاں پر فطرت اور سیاحت سے متعلق مزید سرگرمیاں انجام دی جائیں گی۔ سیاحوں کو دستیاب سہولیات کے لئے خصوصی رہنمائی فراہم کی جائے گی۔ دوسری طرف ، اسلام آباد اور اس کے ماحول میں تاریخی مقامات کے دورے کے اہم موقع پر بھی روشنی ڈالی جائے گی۔
اجلاس میں یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ شہر میں موجودہ لائبریریوں کو آپریشنل بنایا جائے گا اور انہیں عام لوگوں کے لئے کھول دیا جائے گا۔ اس سے نوجوان نسل میں کتاب پڑھنے کی عادت کو فروغ ملے گا۔ پاکستان کے قومی ثقافت کو اجاگر کرنے کے لئے دیگر اہم اقدامات بھی اتھارٹی کے ذریعہ اٹھائے جائیں گے۔
بورڈ کے اجلاس میں شہر میں صفائی کی صورتحال کا بھی جائزہ لیا گیا اور صفائی کے نظام کو مزید بہتر بنانے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔ شہر کے روڈ انفراسٹرکچر کی بحالی کے لئے کی جارہی کوششوں کو تیز اور بہتر بنانے کی بھی ہدایات جاری کی گئیں۔
