CDA approves the construction of cycling tracks in parks

It is reported that the civic body will review the layout plan of the existing parks and see that how many parks can be used for the construction of cycling tracks.

It is also mentioned that these tracks will be constructed without affecting the natural environment. The engineering wing of CDA would provide its input to the environment directorate regarding the construction of soft and hard cycling tracks in the defined parks.

The environmental directorate has made it clear that no tree would be cut off or damaged during the construction of the tracks. All of these tracks are made sure to be environment friendly and will provide more healthy activities.

An official said they are also thinking about the construction of cycling tracks in selective parks in the first phase, adding “The experience in the first phase can help us move forward with better vision and approach.”

اسلام آباد: عوامی مقامات پر معذور افراد کے لئے ریمپ کی تعمیر کی منظوری کے بعد سی ڈی اے نے پبلک پارکس میں سائیکلنگ ٹریک بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ یہ فیصلہ صحت مند طرز زندگی کی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے لئے کیا گیا ہے۔

بتایا گیا ہے کہ سی ڈی اے موجودہ پارکوں کے لے آؤٹ پلان کا جائزہ لے گی اور دیکھے گی کہ سائیکلنگ ٹریک کی تعمیر کے لئے کتنے پارکس استعمال ہوسکتے ہیں۔

یہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے کہ یہ ٹریک قدرتی ماحول کو متاثر کیے بغیر تعمیر کی جائیں گی۔ سی ڈی اے کا انجینئرنگ ونگ محکمہ ماحولیات کو اپنے مخصوص حصوں میں نرم اور سخت سائیکلنگ ٹریک کی تعمیر کے حوالے سے ان پٹ فراہم کرے گا۔

محکمہ ماحولیات نے واضح کیا ہے کہ ٹریک کی تعمیر کے دوران کسی درخت کو کاٹ یا نقصان نہیں پہنچایا جائے گا۔ ان تمام ٹریک کو ماحول دوست ہونے کا یقین کر لیا گیا ہے اور مزید صحتمند سرگرمیاں مہیا کریں گی۔

ایک عہدیدار نے بتایا کہ وہ پہلے مرحلے میں انتخابی پارکوں میں سائیکلنگ ٹریک کی تعمیر کے بارے میں بھی سوچ رہے ہیں ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ "پہلے مرحلے کا تجربہ بہتر وژن اور نقطہ نظر کے ساتھ آگے بڑھنے میں ہماری مدد کرسکتا ہے۔"
