Business timings restricted to 8pm in new lockdown order: Karachi

The new notification will remain in force from September 1 till September 15. It was issued by the home department in the exercise of powers conferred under Section 3(1) of the Sindh Epidemic Diseases Act, 2014.

“Business Timings, Market and business activities in Karachi division and district Hyderabad may continue till 8pm. Other divisions and districts of Sindh province to continue market and business activities till 10pm,” reads the notification.

It, however, adds that essential services will be allowed to operate 24/7. Such services include pharmacies, medical facilities, vaccination centers, fuel stations, LPG shops, milk shops, tandoors, standalone grocery stores, vendors of fish, meat, vegetable, and fruit, e-commerce, and bakeries.

“All the management and staff and customers shall follow Covid-related SOPs,” the notification reads. In the Karachi division, Fridays and Sundays will be closed days. In Hyderabad, Fridays and Saturdays will be closed days and in other divisions and districts of Sindh, Friday will be the closed day.

The notification reads: “A complete ban shall continue on indoor dining for Karachi and Hyderabad, however, outdoor dining will be allowed till 10pm under strict Covid protocols. Indoor and outdoor dining will be allowed till 11:59pm at 50% occupancy for the vaccinated individuals only.

“Carrying vaccination cards by the guests while dining out shall be mandatory for the purpose of inspection by the LEAs. Takeaway and drive-through and home delivery are allowed 24/7, subject to the following of all SOPs with staff and delivery personnel duly vaccinated.

نیا نوٹیفکیشن یکم ستمبر سے 15 ستمبر تک نافذ العمل رہے گا۔ یہ محکمہ داخلہ کی جانب سے سندھ وبائی امراض ایکٹ 2014 کے سیکشن 3 (1) کے تحت دیئے گئے اختیارات کے استعمال سے جاری کیا گیا تھا۔

کراچی ڈویژن اور ضلع حیدرآباد میں کاروباری اوقات ، مارکیٹ اور کاروباری سرگرمیاں رات 8 بجے تک جاری رہ سکتی ہیں۔ صوبہ سندھ کے دیگر ڈویژنوں اور اضلاع میں رات 10 بجے تک مارکیٹ اور کاروباری سرگرمیاں جاری رہیں گی۔

تاہم ، اس میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ ضروری خدمات کو 24/7 کام کرنے کی اجازت ہوگی۔ اس طرح کی خدمات میں فارمیسیاں ، طبی سہولیات ، ویکسینیشن سینٹرز ، فیول اسٹیشن ، ایل پی جی کی دکانیں ، دودھ کی دکانیں ، ٹنڈورز ، اسٹینڈ اسٹون گروسری اسٹورز ، مچھلی ، گوشت ، سبزیوں اور پھلوں کے فروش ، ای کامرس اور بیکری شامل ہیں۔

نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ تمام انتظامات اور عملہ اور صارفین کوویڈ سے متعلقہ ایس او پیز پر عمل کریں گے۔ کراچی ڈویژن میں جمعہ اور اتوار کے دن بند رہیں گے۔ حیدرآباد میں جمعہ اور ہفتہ بند دن ہوں گے اور سندھ کے دیگر ڈویژنوں اور اضلاع میں جمعہ کا دن بند رہے گا۔

نوٹیفکیشن میں لکھا گیا ہے: "کراچی اور حیدرآباد کے اندرونی کھانے پر مکمل پابندی جاری رہے گی ، تاہم ، سخت کوویڈ پروٹوکول کے تحت رات 10 بجے تک بیرونی کھانے کی اجازت ہوگی۔ انڈے اور آؤٹ ڈور کھانے کی اجازت دی جائے گی 11:59 تک صرف ویکسین والے افراد کے لیے 50٪ قبضے پر۔
