Business community wants construction package extended

On Wednesday, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI)’s President Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan stated that Prime Minister of Islamic Republic Pakistan had announced a construction package to review the economy, but because of the timeliness of the package, some investors are nor able to take complete leverage of the incentives being provided in the package. 

ICCI president requested the government to extend the construction package till June 30, 2021 as it will help maximum investors to invest in Pakistan and play a role in increasing country’s economic growth.

While talking about the delegation of the Real Estate Welfare Association, led by its President Chaudhry Abdul Rauf Khan stated that ICCI was considering holding an exhibition to highlight the potential of the real estate industry.

While addressing the conference about the requirements of extending package, ICCI president said that the development of the real estate and construction sector would help the businesses of over 70 allied industries to flourish, besides reducing unemployment in the country, therefore, promotion of this sector should be the topmost priority of the government.

Furthermore, he made it sure that the problems faced by the real estate sector would be resolved on priority basis. 

اسلام آباد: ایک خبر ذرائع کے مطابق ، بدھ کے روز یہ خبر موصول ہوئی ہے کہ اسلام آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (آئی سی سی آئی) کے صدر سردار یاسر الیاس خان نے بیان کیا ہے کہ وزیر اعظم اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان نے معیشت کا جائزہ لینے کے لئے تعمیراتی پیکیج کا اعلان کیا ہے ، لیکن اس لئے کہ پیکیج کی بروقتی کے بارے میں ، کچھ سرمایہ کار پیکیج میں فراہم کی جانے والی مراعات کا مکمل فائدہ اٹھاسکتے ہیں۔

آئی سی سی آئی کے صدر نے حکومت سے درخواست کی کہ وہ 30 جون 2021 تک تعمیراتی پیکیج میں توسیع کرے کیونکہ اس سے زیادہ سے زیادہ سرمایہ کاروں کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے میں مدد ملے گی اور ملک کی معاشی نمو بڑھانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کیا جاسکے گا۔

رئیل اسٹیٹ ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن کے وفد کے بارے میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے ، اس کے صدر چوہدری عبدالرؤف خان کی سربراہی میں کہا گیا کہ آئی سی سی آئی رئیل اسٹیٹ انڈسٹری کی صلاحیت کو اجاگر کرنے کے لئے ایک نمائش کے انعقاد پر غور کررہا ہے۔

کانفرنس کو توسیع پیکیج کی ضروریات کے بارے میں خطاب کرتے ہوئے ، آئی سی سی آئی کے صدر نے کہا کہ رئیل اسٹیٹ اور تعمیراتی شعبے کی ترقی سے ملک میں بیروزگاری کو کم کرنے کے علاوہ ، 70 سے زائد اتحادی صنعتوں کے کاروبار کو پنپنے میں مدد ملے گی ، لہذا ، اس شعبے کو فروغ دینا چاہئے۔ حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہو۔

مزید یہ کہ انہوں نے یہ یقینی بناتے ہوئے کہا کہ جائداد غیر منقولہ سیکٹر کو درپیش مسائل ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیے جائیں گے۔
