BOR to revamp revenue system at village level

According to the news sources, the meeting approved the filing of appeals and revisions in the Board of Revenue at the commissioner’s office and this process would be started immediately. It was also decided that low denomination stamps would be shifted to e-stamping and printing on white paper would also be launched across the province from January 3, 2022.

According to the meeting, In the Lahore Division, the pilot project has already begun. From the following month, the conference resolved to rebuild the income system at the village level by deleting superfluous data and adding data that meets modern-day requirements. By the end of this year, 4,000 new rural revenue centers would be operational.

Board of Revenue has retrieved 31 acres of 4 Kanal state land valuing more than Rs30 million in Rahim Yar Khan, Sheikhupura, Khanewal, and District Okara in the last 48 hours in its campaign against land grabbers and encroachers. In a statement, issued here, Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar has said that seven kanal state land in Khanewal valuing Rs2.80 million, one acre, six Kanal state land valuing Rs5 million in Sheikhupura, one acre, and three Kanal 10 Marla valuing Rs15.3 million while 21 acres two Kanal 13 Marla worth Rs11.6 million had also been retrieved from Rahim Yar Khan.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اجلاس میں کمشنر آفس میں بورڈ آف ریونیو میں اپیلیں دائر کرنے اور نظرثانی کی منظوری دی گئی اور یہ عمل فوری شروع کیا جائے گا۔ یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ کم مالیت کے ڈاک ٹکٹوں کو ای سٹیمپنگ پر منتقل کیا جائے گا اور 3 جنوری 2022 سے صوبے بھر میں وائٹ پیپر پر پرنٹنگ کا آغاز کیا جائے گا۔
لاہور ڈویژن میں پائلٹ پراجیکٹ پہلے ہی چل رہا ہے۔ اجلاس میں فالتو ڈیٹا کو حذف کرکے اور جدید دور کی ضرورت کے مطابق اگلے ماہ سے ڈیٹا کو شامل کرکے گاؤں کی سطح پر ریونیو کے نظام کو بہتر بنانے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا گیا۔ اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ اس سال 31 دسمبر تک 4000 نئے دیہی ریونیو مراکز کام کرنا شروع کر دیں گے۔

بورڈ آف ریونیو نے گزشتہ 48 گھنٹوں کے دوران رحیم یار خان، شیخوپورہ، خانیوال اور ضلع اوکاڑہ میں 30 ملین روپے سے زائد مالیت کی 4 کنال سرکاری اراضی واگزار کرا لی ہے۔ یہاں جاری ہونے والے ایک بیان میں سینئر ممبر بورڈ آف ریونیو بابر حیات تارڑ نے کہا ہے کہ خانیوال میں سات کنال سرکاری اراضی جس کی مالیت 2.80 ملین روپے، ایک ایکڑ، شیخوپورہ میں 50 لاکھ روپے مالیت کی چھ کنال سرکاری اراضی، ایک ایکڑ اور تین کنال۔ رحیم یار خان سے 15.3 ملین روپے مالیت کا مرلہ جبکہ 21 ایکڑ دو کنال 13 مرلہ مالیت کا 11.6 ملین روپے بھی واپس لیا گیا ہے۔
