Before Ramadan, CDA intends to complete the Korang Extension in Islamabad

Engineer Syed Munawar Shah of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said that the agency is working nonstop to complete the Korang Bridge before Ramzan-ul-Mubarak.

Shah made it clear that, we have set a realistic date of the end of April for finishing this stretch and opening it to traffic up to the PWD underpass because this is a massive effort. Because of the FWO's efforts and the troops and equipment that have been deployed, I have a lot of hope that folks who live on both sides beyond the Korang bridge and up to the PWD underpass will feel extremely comfortable. The subsequent project section, from Soan Bridge to T-Chowk, is also moving forward considerably more quickly, and we think that it will be finished ahead of schedule as well.

For daily travellers, the enlargement of the Korang Bridge will be a blessing because it would relieve congestion at the notorious Gulberg bottleneck on the highway.

کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) کے انجینئر سید منور شاہ نے کہا کہ ایجنسی کورنگ پل کو رمضان المبارک سے قبل مکمل کرنے کے لیے مسلسل کام کر رہی ہے۔
شاہ نے واضح کیا کہ، ہم نے اس سلسلے کو مکمل کرنے اور پی ڈبلیو ڈی انڈر پاس تک ٹریفک کے لیے کھولنے کے لیے اپریل کے آخر کی ایک حقیقت پسندانہ تاریخ مقرر کی ہے کیونکہ یہ ایک بڑی کوشش ہے۔ ایف ڈبلیو او کی کوششوں اور تعینات کیے گئے فوجیوں اور آلات کی وجہ سے، مجھے بہت امید ہے کہ کورنگ پل سے آگے اور پی ڈبلیو ڈی انڈر پاس تک دونوں طرف رہنے والے لوگ بہت آرام دہ محسوس کریں گے۔ اس کے بعد کا پروجیکٹ سیکشن، سوان پل سے ٹی چوک تک، بھی کافی تیزی سے آگے بڑھ رہا ہے، اور ہمارا خیال ہے کہ یہ بھی مقررہ وقت سے پہلے ہی مکمل ہو جائے گا۔
یومیہ مسافروں کے لیے کورنگ پل کی توسیع ایک نعمت ثابت ہو گی کیونکہ اس سے شاہراہ پر بدنام زمانہ گلبرگ بٹلنک پر بھیڑ سے نجات ملے گی۔
