Kohat: The property dealers’ association has asked the deputy commissioner to lift the ban on land transfers and allow the registration of housing societies having less than 160 kanals of land, reported a news source.
This demand was put forth by the association’s president, Pir Kamran Shah, and other members during a meeting with deputy commissioner Roshan Mehsud the other day, according to a statement that was issued on Tuesday.
Mr. Shah further informed the deputy commissioner that a ban on the transfer of land had troubled the general public. He said the lifting of the ban on land transfers would help the administration generate handsome revenues.

منگل کو جاری ہونے والے ایک بیان کے مطابق، یہ مطالبہ ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر پیر کامران شاہ اور دیگر اراکین نے دوسرے روز ڈپٹی کمشنر روشن محسود سے ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔
مسٹر شاہ نے ڈپٹی کمشنر کو مزید بتایا کہ اراضی کی منتقلی پر پابندی سے عام لوگوں کو پریشانی ہوئی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ زمین کی منتقلی پر پابندی کے خاتمے سے انتظامیہ کو اچھی آمدنی حاصل کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔
