Azerbaijan Announces E-Visa Facility for Pakistan

According to the news sources, the country’s ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, announced the development on Tuesday.

 “Happy to announce that Azerbaijan is open to brotherly Pakistan. Now e-visa system is applicable to all. Welcome to Azerbaijan!” the ambassador said on Twitter.

According to the details, the development comes hours after Pakistan’s envoy to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, revealed that both countries were also preparing to launch direct flights in the coming months.

“We hope that in the next couple of months, we will be able to resume and start direct flights between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. This will be a big breakthrough in terms of bringing the peoples of two countries closer,” the Pakistani envoy told the media.

According to the news sources, He noted that direct flights would operate between Baku and the major cities of Pakistan.

“It will be just a three-hour flight, and we hope that many Azerbaijani friends will be able to travel to Pakistan for tourism, business, and other purposes,” the ambassador said.

"یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے خوشی ہے کہ آذربائیجان برادر پاکستان کے لیے کھلا ہے۔ اب ای ویزا سسٹم سب پر لاگو ہے۔ آذربائیجان میں خوش آمدید! سفیر نے ٹویٹر پر کہا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق یہ پیش رفت آذربائیجان میں پاکستان کے ایلچی بلال حئی کے اس انکشاف کے چند گھنٹے بعد سامنے آئی ہے کہ دونوں ممالک آنے والے مہینوں میں براہ راست پروازیں شروع کرنے کی بھی تیاری کر رہے ہیں۔
"ہمیں امید ہے کہ اگلے دو مہینوں میں، ہم پاکستان اور آذربائیجان کے درمیان براہ راست پروازیں دوبارہ شروع کرنے اور شروع کرنے کے قابل ہو جائیں گے۔ پاکستانی سفیر نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ یہ دونوں ممالک کے عوام کو قریب لانے کے حوالے سے ایک بڑی پیش رفت ہوگی۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق انہوں نے کہا کہ باکو اور پاکستان کے بڑے شہروں کے درمیان براہ راست پروازیں چلیں گی۔
سفیر نے کہا، "یہ صرف تین گھنٹے کی پرواز ہوگی، اور ہمیں امید ہے کہ بہت سے آذربائیجانی دوست سیاحت، کاروبار اور دیگر مقاصد کے لیے پاکستان کا سفر کر سکیں گے۔"
