Approval of Mass Underground Transit System in Lahore: Punjab Cabinet

The CM stated that he did not want to harm Lahore by establishing an underground railway system at the time. The Blue Line, Purple Line, and public transportation projects will be launched with assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

He continued by saying that no funding will be provided by the Punjab government and that the project will be conducted on a build-operate-transfer basis.

From Valencia Town, the subway would travel to Karma Chowk, Liberty Chowk, and Data Darbar before arriving at the airport.

Eight significant Orange Line train stations would also be constructed. The Planning and Development Board and the Transport Department were also given permission by the cabinet to discuss technical support and funding with the ADB.

وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ وہ اس وقت انڈر گراؤنڈ ریلوے سسٹم بنا کر لاہور کو نقصان نہیں پہنچانا چاہتے تھے۔ ایشین ڈویلپمنٹ بینک (اے ڈی بی) کی مدد سے بلیو لائن، پرپل لائن اور پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کے منصوبے شروع کیے جائیں گے۔
انہوں نے یہ کہتے ہوئے جاری رکھا کہ پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے کوئی فنڈنگ فراہم نہیں کی جائے گی اور یہ منصوبہ تعمیراتی کام اور منتقلی کی بنیاد پر چلایا جائے گا۔ ویلنسیا ٹاؤن سے، سب وے ہوائی اڈے پر پہنچنے سے پہلے کرما چوک، لبرٹی چوک اور داتا دربار تک جائے گی۔
                                      
آٹھ اہم اورنج لائن ٹرین اسٹیشن بھی تعمیر کیے جائیں گے۔ کابینہ نے پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ اور محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ کو بھی اے ڈی بی کے ساتھ تکنیکی مدد اور فنڈنگ پر بات کرنے کی اجازت دی تھی۔
