Annual budget for 2022-23 worth Rs.2.287 billion presented by RDA to Punjab Government

An RDA spokesperson reviewed the annual budget of RDA which was then sent to the provincial government. WASA Managing Director also attended this meeting.

The spokesperson, also informed that the total outlay of the RDA budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 was Rs.2.287 billion. The Punjab Government will be providing Rs.49,506 million for the proposed development schemes through its annual development programme.

On-going schemes such as the construction of the Rawalpindi Ring Road-R3 (38.3 km) main carriageway from Banth (N-5) to Thalian (M-2) worth Rs.12,000 million and the provision of LED street lights for Ward 1 to Ward 6 of Chakala Cantonment Board, UC-42, UC-75 and UC-78 Rawalpindi for which 10 million have been reserved.

Apart from that Rs. 20 million have been reserved for the land acquisition for the construction of Nullah Leh Expressway and flood channel phase-1. Rs.300 million have been allocated for the remodelling of Defence Chowk Rawalpindi, and Rs.20 million for the establishment of PMU for the construction of Nullah Lai Project.

راولپنڈی: آر ڈی اے کی جانب سے پنجاب حکومت کو 2.287 ارب روپے کا سالانہ بجٹ پیش کیا گیا جس میں پنجاب حکومت کے ترقیاتی اخراجات کا تخمینہ بھی شامل ہے۔
آر ڈی اے کے ترجمان نے آر ڈی اے کے سالانہ بجٹ کا جائزہ لیا جو کہ پھر صوبائی حکومت کو بھیجا گیا۔ اس اجلاس میں واسا کے منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر نے بھی شرکت کی۔
ترجمان نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ مالی سال 2022-23 کے لیے آر ڈی اے بجٹ کا کل تخمینہ 2.287 بلین روپے تھا۔ پنجاب حکومت اپنے سالانہ ترقیاتی پروگرام کے ذریعے مجوزہ ترقیاتی سکیموں کے لیے 49,506 ملین روپے فراہم کرے گی۔
12,000 ملین روپے کی لاگت سے راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ-R3 (38.3 کلومیٹر) مین کیریج وے بنت (N-5) سے ٹھلیاں (M-2) کی تعمیر اور وارڈ 1 کے لیے ایل ای ڈی اسٹریٹ لائٹس کی فراہمی جیسی جاری اسکیمیں چکالہ کنٹونمنٹ بورڈ کے وارڈ 6، UC-42، UC-75 اور UC-78 راولپنڈی تک جن کے لیے 10 ملین مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔
اس کے علاوہ روپے نالہ لیہ ایکسپریس وے اور فلڈ چینل فیز 1 کی تعمیر کے لیے زمین کے حصول کے لیے 20 ملین روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ ڈیفنس چوک راولپنڈی کی ری ماڈلنگ کے لیے 300 ملین روپے اور نالہ لائی پروجیکٹ کی تعمیر کے لیے PMU کے قیام کے لیے 20 ملین روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔
