Amenity plot reserved for park, club retrieved

According to the news source, The SC has already been ordered to demolish Madina Masjid on Tariq Road because it has been constructed over amenity plot No. AP30

While talking to the media, Ferozabad Assistant Commissioner Asma Batool said that the top court had ordered her on December 10 to get the land reserved for a park and a club to be vacated in a week. The land in question, plot No. AP31 measures 989.83 square yards. Asma said that out of these 989.83 square yards, some 284 square yards had been encroached upon.

She said that the supreme court had ordered restoring the park, fencing it, and growing grass inside the park. There had been 13 garment shops on the land reserved for the park and a club, along with a few real estate offices and a few tandoor shops. Four families had also been residing on the upper floors of those shops, while a small madrasa was being run inside a boundary wall that was constructed separately. She said that the entire plot would be vacated by Sunday night.

The SC has already ordered to demolish Madina Masjid on Tariq Road. According to Assistant Commissioner, plot No. AP31 is situated on the backside of the mosque.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق سپریم کورٹ پہلے ہی طارق روڈ پر واقع مدینہ مسجد کو گرانے کا حکم دے چکی ہے کیونکہ یہ سہولت والے پلاٹ نمبر اے پی 30 پر تعمیر کی گئی ہے۔
فیروز آباد کی اسسٹنٹ کمشنر عاصمہ بتول نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ نے 10 دسمبر کو انہیں پارک اور کلب کے لیے مختص زمین ایک ہفتے میں خالی کرانے کا حکم دیا تھا۔ زیر بحث زمین، پلاٹ نمبر (اے پی-31) کی پیمائش 989.83 مربع گز ہے۔ عاصمہ نے بتایا کہ ان 989.83 مربع گز میں سے تقریباً 284 مربع گز پر تجاوزات ہو چکی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ نے پارک کی بحالی، باڑ لگانے اور پارک کے اندر گھاس اگانے کا حکم دیا تھا۔ پارک اور ایک کلب کے لیے مختص اراضی پر کپڑے کی 13 دکانیں تھیں، ساتھ ہی چند رئیل اسٹیٹ دفاتر اور چند تندور کی دکانیں تھیں۔ ان دکانوں کی بالائی منزلوں پر چار خاندان بھی مقیم تھے، جب کہ ایک چھوٹا مدرسہ ایک چاردیواری کے اندر چلایا جا رہا تھا جو الگ سے تعمیر کی گئی تھی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اتوار کی رات تک پورا پلاٹ خالی کر دیا جائے گا۔
سپریم کورٹ پہلے ہی طارق روڈ پر واقع مدینہ مسجد کو گرانے کا حکم دے چکی ہے۔ اسسٹنٹ کمشنر کے مطابق پلاٹ نمبر اے پی 31 مسجد کے عقب میں واقع ہے۔
