Advanced technology and skill provided to Pakistan for the construction of Eastbay Expressway

Lt. Col Naveed Ahmad Shami, the coordinator of the 19km long expressway revealed that technology known as Revetment and Pilling Technology was used within Pakistan for the first time.

He also discussed that the initial time period for the project was of three years. However, the project faced multiple delays since three bridges also had to be constructed to accommodate the fishermen in the surroundings. The construction of these bridges aims to provide ease to the fishermen in the transport of their boats and luggage through the bridges.

The transference of this technology has not only been delivered to Gwadar in general but it has been provided to the people of Pakistan living in the most remote areas.

19 کلومیٹر طویل ایکسپریس وے کے کوآرڈینیٹر لیفٹیننٹ کرنل نوید احمد شامی نے انکشاف کیا کہ ریویٹمنٹ اور پِلنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے نام سے جانی جانے والی ٹیکنالوجی پہلی بار پاکستان میں استعمال کی گئی۔
انہوں نے اس بات پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا کہ اس منصوبے کی ابتدائی مدت تین سال تھی۔ تاہم، اس منصوبے کو متعدد تاخیر کا سامنا کرنا پڑا کیونکہ ارد گرد کے ماہی گیروں کے لیے تین پل بھی تعمیر کیے جانے تھے۔ ان پلوں کی تعمیر کا مقصد ماہی گیروں کو پلوں کے ذریعے اپنی کشتیوں اور سامان کی نقل و حمل میں آسانی فراہم کرنا ہے۔
اس ٹیکنالوجی کی منتقلی نہ صرف عام طور پر گوادر تک پہنچائی گئی ہے بلکہ یہ پاکستان کے دور دراز علاقوں میں رہنے والے لوگوں کو فراہم کی گئی ہے۔
