Action to be taken against individuals preparing fake COVID vaccination certificates

Following the NCOC directives, the FIA has started collecting records of people allegedly involved in preparing fake COVID certificates besides also arresting a few of them from various cities.

Some people have been summoned by the FIA for using social media platforms to provide fake certificates as the agency said that legal action would be taken against them following a probe.

The officials said that strict punishments and legal action would be persuaded against such elements.

It is pertinent to mention here that suspects have been arrested from Karachi, Lahore, and other major cities of the country including the staffers of the vaccination centers for their alleged involvement in preparing fake COVID vaccination certificates.

In August, the Sindh government asked National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) to block the national identity cards of the accused involved in the fake Covid-19 vaccination certificates scam.

The Sindh Health Department has written a letter to NCOC seeking to block CNICs of the accused involved in the issuance of fake COVID vaccination certificates to citizens.

Around 36 people in Sindh were arrested and facing charges in fake vaccination cards scam, the health department said in a letter, requesting NCOC to bloc CNICs of all those 36 people facing trial.

Earlier on August 6, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had busted a racket involved in making fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates in the federal capital.

عہدیداروں نے کہا کہ ایسے عناصر کے خلاف سخت سزائیں اور قانونی کارروائی پر قائل کیا جائے گا۔

یہاں یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ کراچی ، لاہور اور ملک کے دیگر بڑے شہروں سے مشتبہ افراد کو گرفتار کیا گیا ہے جن میں ویکسینیشن سینٹرز کے عملے کو مبینہ طور پر جعلی COVID ویکسینیشن سرٹیفکیٹ تیار کرنے میں ملوث ہونے کے الزام میں گرفتار کیا گیا ہے۔

اگست میں ، سندھ حکومت نے نیشنل کمانڈ اینڈ آپریشن سینٹر (این سی او سی) سے کہا کہ وہ جعلی کوویڈ 19 ویکسینیشن سرٹیفکیٹ اسکینڈل میں ملوث ملزمان کے قومی شناختی کارڈ بلاک کرے۔

محکمہ صحت سندھ نے این سی او سی کو ایک خط لکھا ہے جس میں شہریوں کو جعلی کوویڈ ویکسینیشن سرٹیفکیٹ جاری کرنے میں ملوث ملزمان کی شناختی کارڈ کو بلاک کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے۔

سندھ میں تقریبا 36 افراد کو گرفتار کیا گیا اور جعلی ویکسینیشن کارڈ اسکینڈل میں الزامات کا سامنا کرنا پڑا ، محکمہ صحت نے ایک خط میں کہا کہ این سی او سی سے ان تمام 36 افراد کی شناختی کارڈ بلاک کرنے کی درخواست کی جا رہی ہے۔

اس سے قبل 6 اگست کو وفاقی تحقیقاتی ایجنسی (ایف آئی اے) نے وفاقی دارالحکومت میں جعلی COVID-19 ویکسینیشن سرٹیفکیٹ بنانے میں ملوث ایک ریکیٹ کا پردہ فاش کیا تھا۔
