Across Pakistan, the government will build 12 knowledge parks

The Establishment of Knowledge Park in Pakistan project would be carried out in two stages, with Phase 1's projected cost being Rs. 939.359 million.

These new parks will be built in the nation's largest cities. Knowledge Parks will be built as part of Phase I in the provincial capitals of Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, and Peshawar. Phase II of this project would see the network expanded to include Hyderabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit when it has been successfully completed.

The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives is funding the project, which Pakistan Software Export Board will carry out (PSEB).

This ecosystem will give industry and academia the chance to improve the way that technology education is delivered, create interfaces for launching firms, and strengthen collaborations for co-creating new research and products.

6,000 IT undergraduates and recent graduates will receive in-demand, industry-recommended training as a result of the industry-academia collaboration.
