79% motorway and 68% of highway completed under CPEC

According to the news sources, as many as 79% of works on motorways and 68% on highways have been completed on eastern and western routes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Both the Western and Eastern alignments will connect Khunjerab Pass to Gwadar. The common alignment for all the three eastern, western, and central routes including 790 km road from Khunjerab to Burhan and 193 km road from Hoshab to Gwadar has been completed already.

Burhan will be at the intersection of the Eastern and Western Alignment. According to the officials, the distance of the Eastern route starting from Islamabad to Karachi is 1,419 km, out of which 79% of work on motorways has been completed whereas 21% is left which is 306 km Sukkur Hyderabad motorway.

This is the only patch left in the eastern route of CPEC. Sukkur Hyderabad motorway is expected to be complete in the next 30 months. The company which won the tender has already been permitted to start its construction.

مغربی اور مشرقی دونوں صف بندی درہ خنجراب کو گوادر سے جوڑے گی۔ خنجراب سے برہان تک 790 کلومیٹر سڑک اور ہوشاب سے گوادر تک 193 کلومیٹر سڑک سمیت تینوں مشرقی، مغربی اور وسطی راستوں کی مشترکہ الائنمنٹ پہلے ہی مکمل ہو چکی ہے۔
برہان مشرقی اور مغربی صف بندی کے چوراہے پر ہوگا۔ حکام کے مطابق اسلام آباد سے کراچی شروع ہونے والے مشرقی روٹ کا فاصلہ 1419 کلومیٹر ہے جس میں سے موٹر ویز پر 79 فیصد کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے جب کہ 21 فیصد رہ گیا ہے جو کہ 306 کلومیٹر سکھر حیدرآباد موٹروے ہے۔
(سی پیک) کے مشرقی روٹ میں یہ واحد پیچ باقی ہے۔ سکھر حیدرآباد موٹروے آئندہ 30 ماہ میں مکمل ہونے کی امید ہے۔ ٹینڈر جیتنے والی کمپنی کو پہلے ہی اس کی تعمیر شروع کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔
