5 Marla Houses in Punjab to be taxed on rental value

The excise department has sent a proposal to the government for implementation from next financial year to levy tax according to rental value from 5 marla houses in each category area instead of collecting from A category area.

Small houses will now be taxed at rental value instead of quorum. In this regard, the excise officials said that the rates of all the rating areas across Punjab are available with the excise.

According to the rates, property tax should be collected from 5 marla houses. Earlier, property tax was collected only from the owners of 5 marla houses activated in A-Category.

Owners of houses earning more than Rs. The excise department has sent the proposal to the government for approval.

The final decision on the implementation of the tax will be taken by the government.

چھوٹے گھروں پر اب کورم کی بجائے کرایے کی قیمت پر ٹیکس عائد کیا جائے گا۔ اس ضمن میں ایکسائز حکام نے بتایا کہ پنجاب بھر کے ریٹنگ والے تمام علاقوں کی شرحیں ایکسائز کے ساتھ دستیاب ہیں۔

نرخوں کے مطابق پراپرٹی ٹیکس 5 مرلہ مکانات سے وصول کیا جائے۔ اس سے قبل ، پراپرٹی ٹیکس صرف اے قسم میں فعال 5 مرلہ مکانوں کے مالکان سے وصول کیا جاتا تھا۔

مکانات کے مالکان جوکہ دس لاکھ روپے سے زیادہ کماتے ہیں۔ 2 لاکھ 25 ہزار۔ محکمہ ایکسائز نے یہ تجویز منظوری کے لئے حکومت کو ارسال کردی ہے۔

ٹیکس کے نفاذ سے متعلق حتمی فیصلہ حکومت کرے گی۔
