3,887 applicants allotted plots in LDA City through balloting

The ceremony was at LDA Sports Complex under Minister Housing Malik Asad Khokhar. However, it is pertinent to mention here that the minister avoided questions regarding the project raised by the media men present at the spot.

The LDA DG present in the ceremony didn’t answer the main question that when the allottees will get possession of their plots. Addressing the function, Minister Asad Khokhar said that he was very happy with the transparent draw.

The LDA was working day and night to build and develop the city, he said, adding ‘we were working under the leadership of Imran Khan and the chief minister to solve longstanding problems of people. He said the LDA City scheme launched during the previous regime was slow due to poor planning.

“We under the leadership of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar have taken the LDA City file holders out of despair and allotted plot numbers to the file holders through the transparent lottery,” he maintained and urged the LDA officials to work harder.

Speaking on the occasion, LDA Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar said that today's transparent lottery has enhanced the prestige of LDA.

“We are committed to bringing LDA City to completion on a priority basis. Our team has worked tirelessly to fix the complexities of this scheme,” he said.

تقریب ایل ڈی اے سپورٹس کمپلیکس میں وزیر ہاؤسنگ ملک اسد کھوکھر کے ماتحت تھی۔ تاہم ، یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ وزیر نے اس موقع پر موجود میڈیا مینوں کی طرف سے اٹھائے گئے منصوبے سے متعلق سوالات سے گریز کیا۔

تقریب میں موجود ایل ڈی اے کے ڈی جی نے اس اہم سوال کا جواب نہیں دیا کہ الاٹیز کو اپنے پلاٹوں کا قبضہ کب ملے گا۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیر اسد کھوکھر نے کہا کہ وہ شفاف قرعہ اندازی سے بہت خوش ہیں۔

ایل ڈی اے شہر کی تعمیر اور ترقی کے لیے دن رات کام کر رہا ہے ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ہم عمران خان اور وزیر اعلیٰ کی قیادت میں لوگوں کے دیرینہ مسائل کے حل کے لیے کام کر رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایل ڈی اے سٹی اسکیم گزشتہ حکومت کے دوران شروع کی گئی تھی جو کہ ناقص منصوبہ بندی کی وجہ سے سست تھی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار کی قیادت میں ایل ڈی اے سٹی کے فائل ہولڈرز کو مایوسی سے نکال دیا ہے اور شفاف قرعہ اندازی کے ذریعے فائل ہولڈرز کو پلاٹ نمبر الاٹ کیے ہیں۔

اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے ایل ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل احمد عزیز تارڑ نے کہا کہ آج کی شفاف قرعہ اندازی نے ایل ڈی اے کا وقار بڑھایا ہے۔

ہم ایل ڈی اے سٹی کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر مکمل کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہیں۔ ہماری ٹیم نے اس اسکیم کی پیچیدگیوں کو دور کرنے کے لیے انتھک محنت کی ہے۔
