300MW Coal Power Plant To End Energy Scarcity In Gwadar By 2023

According to the 2050 Master Plan of Gwadar, the needs of around 150,000 people will be met due to the completion of the coal-fired powerplant. This project is one of the key energy projects under CPEC.

This project aims to help Gwadar resolve issues arising in the current economic development and urban construction which was being hindered due to the power outages. The power plant will allow the Gwadar region to rely on its local power supply.

The completion of the power plant will also save millions of dollars that are being spent to produce electricity from diesel generators. This project will also deepen the energy cooperation between China and Pakistan which will boost the development of the Belt and Road initiative.

اسلام آباد: کول پاور پلانٹ مکمل ہونے کے بعد اکتوبر 2023 کے آخر تک گوادر میں بلاتعطل بجلی کی فراہمی دستیاب ہو جائے گی۔
گوادر کے 2050 کے ماسٹر پلان کے مطابق کوئلے سے چلنے والے پاور پلانٹ کی تکمیل سے تقریباً 150,000 لوگوں کی ضروریات پوری ہوں گی۔ یہ منصوبہ سی پیک کے تحت توانائی کے اہم منصوبوں میں سے ایک ہے۔
اس منصوبے کا مقصد گوادر کی موجودہ اقتصادی ترقی اور شہری تعمیرات میں پیدا ہونے والے مسائل کو حل کرنے میں مدد کرنا ہے جو بجلی کی بندش کی وجہ سے رکاوٹ بن رہے تھے۔ پاور پلانٹ گوادر کے علاقے کو اپنی مقامی بجلی کی فراہمی پر انحصار کرنے کی اجازت دے گا۔
پاور پلانٹ کی تکمیل سے ڈیزل جنریٹرز سے بجلی پیدا کرنے پر خرچ ہونے والے لاکھوں ڈالر کی بچت بھی ہوگی۔ یہ منصوبہ چین اور پاکستان کے درمیان توانائی کے تعاون کو بھی گہرا کرے گا جس سے بیلٹ اینڈ روڈ اقدام کی ترقی کو فروغ ملے گا۔
