3 Development Schemes Worth Rs.1.9bn Approved By PDWP

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved developmental schemes for various sectors which costs millions of rupees. The projects approved included the dualization of GT road, Rehabilitation, and carpeting of city roads (including Defence road, Shahab Pura Road, Eminabad road to Sunyarawala pull, etc).

The dualization of GT road is planned to be for the road leading to Gujrat – Dinga Road which would cost around Rs.7,575 million. Whereas other projects such as cand Recharge of Aquifer for Groundwater Management in Punjab (Revised) would cost around Rs785.368 million.

The meeting was attended by all the members of the planning and development board as well as provincial sectaries of departments concerned alongside the Provincial Secretary P&D Mujahid Sherdil. Other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial departments also attended the meeting.

پنجاب پراونشل ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی نے مختلف شعبوں کے لئے ترقیاتی اسکیموں کی منظوری دی جس پر لاکھوں روپے لاگت آتی ہے۔ منظور کئے گئے منصوبوں میں جی ٹی روڈ، بحالی اور شہر کی سڑکوں کی قالین سازی (بشمول ڈیفنس روڈ، شہاب پورہ روڈ، ایمن آباد روڈ سے سنایاراوالا پل وغیرہ) کی دوہری شکل شامل ہے۔
جی ٹی روڈ کی دوہری شکل گجرات ڈنگہ روڈ جانے والی سڑک کے لئے ہونے کا منصوبہ ہے جس پر تقریبا 7575 ملین روپے لاگت آئے گی۔ جبکہ پنجاب میں زیر زمین پانی کے انتظام کے لئے ایکویفر کی سینڈ ریچارج جیسے دیگر منصوبوں پر تقریبا 785.368 ملین روپے لاگت آئے گی۔
اجلاس میں پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ کے تمام ممبران کے علاوہ صوبائی سیکرٹری پی ڈی مجاہد شیردل کے ہمراہ متعلقہ محکموں کے صوبائی فرقے نے بھی شرکت کی۔ اجلاس میں متعلقہ صوبائی محکموں کے دیگر سینئر نمائندوں نے بھی شرکت کی۔
