25 "Mobile Sastaa Bazaars" Operational in Islamabad to provide edibles at door step

“The citizens might purchase vegetables, fruits, and other essential food items at government notified rates from these vehicles, moving in sectors as well as in suburban areas of the federal capital, “ Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat said.

Talking to the media, he said the district administration was making all-out efforts to provide maximum relief to the low-income group, under the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said some 100 utility stores were also made functional across the city to ensure the availability of basic kitchen items at affordable rates.

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration had finalized a plan to provide relief to the citizens during the month of Ramazan, he said.

Sharing the plan, he said around 10 Ramazan ‘Sastaa Bazaars’ were set up at various locations in the city to control profiteering and hoarding of essential commodities.

The Bazaars were established in collaboration with Capital Development Authority (CDA) at sectors, G-7, G-10, H-9, I-9, E-11, Pakistan town, Lohibher, Aabpara, Bara Kahu, and Tarnol.

To ensure prompt resolution of public complaints, he said two magistrates were deputed in the city each for the rural and sectoral areas.

The magistrates would take action on citizens’ complaints that will be received through social media platforms, and other channels like WhatsApp, the official helpline, and the ‘City Islamabad’ mobile App.

ڈپٹی کمشنر اسلام آباد حمزہ شفقت نے کہا ، "شہری ان گاڑیوں سے سرکاری نرخوں پر سبزیاں ، پھل اور دیگر ضروری اشیائے خوردونوش خرید سکتے ہیں۔"

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ضلعی انتظامیہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کی ہدایت پر کم آمدنی والے گروپ کو زیادہ سے زیادہ ریلیف کی فراہمی کے لئے پوری کوشش کر رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ تقریبا سو یوٹیلیٹی اسٹورز کو پورے شہر میں فعال بنایا گیا ہے تاکہ سستی نرخوں پر باورچی خانے کی بنیادی اشیاء کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جاسکے۔

انہوں نے بتایا کہ اسلام آباد کیپیٹل ٹیریٹری (آئی سی ٹی) انتظامیہ نے رمضان کے مہینے میں شہریوں کو ریلیف فراہم کرنے کے منصوبے کو حتمی شکل دے دی ہے۔

اس منصوبے کو بانٹتے ہوئے ، انہوں نے بتایا کہ شہر کے مختلف مقامات پر 10 کے قریب رمضان ‘سستا بازاروں’ کا قیام عمل میں لایا گیا ہے تاکہ ضروری سامان کی منافع اور ذخیرہ اندوزی کو کنٹرول کیا جاسکے۔

عوامی شکایات کے فوری حل کو یقینی بنانے کے لیئے انہوں نے کہا کہ شہر میں دیہی اور شعبہ جات کے لئے ہر ایک میں دو مجسٹریٹ تعینات کیے گئے ہیں۔

مجسٹریٹ شہریوں کی شکایات پر کارروائی کریں گے جو سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم ، اور دوسرے چینلز جیسے واٹس ایپ ، آفیشل ہیلپ لائن اور ’سٹی اسلام آباد‘ موبائل ایپ کے ذریعے موصول ہوں گی۔
