196 shops demolished in Township during LDA`s Grand Operation

LDA's grand operation against illegal constructions on government land in the township demolished 196 shops, police arrested several shopkeepers for resisting. According to details, the LDA demolished 196 shops in the township main market in an operation against illegal constructions.

SPs of 3 divisions including Operations Syed Nadeem Abbas participated with a heavy contingent. Police barricaded the roads leading to the township market. Resisting shopkeepers were detained on the spot. Seeing the operation being carried out with heavy machinery, the shopkeepers, with their help, lost millions. Take out the luggage.

 Talking to the media on the occasion, the affected shopkeepers erupted. The shopkeepers said that the government had taken away the jobs of our children from us today. The bullying of LDA and police had snatched food from the mouths of more than 2,000 people.

The shopkeepers added that they were also ready to buy the place, but no administrative representative, including the government, listened to them and now they are on the streets.

بستی میں سرکاری اراضی پر غیر قانونی تعمیرات کے خلاف ایل ڈی اے کے گرینڈ آپریشن ، 196 دکانیں منہدم ، پولیس نے مزاحمت کرنے پر متعدد دکانداروں کو گرفتار کرلیا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق ایل ڈی اے نے غیر قانونی تعمیرات کے خلاف آپریشن میں بستی مین مارکیٹ میں 196 دکانیں مسمار کردیں۔

آپریشنز سید ندیم عباس سمیت 3 ڈویژنوں کے ایس پی نے بھاری نفری کے ساتھ حصہ لیا۔ پولیس نے ٹاؤن شپ مارکیٹ جانے والی سڑکوں پر پابندی عائد کردی۔ مزاحمتی دکانداروں کو موقع پر ہی حراست میں لیا گیا۔ بھاری مشینری کے ذریعہ آپریشن جاری دیکھ کر دکانداروں نے اپنی مدد سے لاکھوں کا نقصان کیا۔

اس موقع پر میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے متاثرہ دکاندار بھڑک اٹھے۔ دکانداروں کا کہنا تھا کہ حکومت نے آج ہمارے بچوں کی نوکریاں ہم سے چھین لیں۔ ایل ڈی اے اور پولیس کی غنڈہ گردی نے 2 ہزار سے زائد افراد کے منہ سے کھانا چھین لیا تھا۔

دکانداروں نے مزید کہا کہ وہ یہ جگہ خریدنے کے لئے بھی تیار ہیں ، لیکن حکومت سمیت کسی انتظامی نمائندے نے ان کی بات نہیں سنی اور اب وہ سڑکوں پر ہیں۔
