1,378 govt houses freed from illegal occupants

The implementation of this act has been taken place with the help of local administration and after the last two and a half years` efforts. In terms of the allotment process, it is said that about 2,245 houses were allotted over merit to the government employees.

After passing of the judgment by the Supreme Court, the allotment of the government houses and quarters are strictly over merit now as per each one`s turn according to the respective general waiting list of the federal government servants under rule 6 & 7 of 2002 Accommodation Allocation Rules. 

The respective general waiting list is properly maintained and updated by Estate Office on regular basis and this was the establishment by the information technology department of the Estate Office. 

The federal government employees can apply to be part of that list via email or they can also apply online. The list is available over www.estate-office.gov.pk which they can access and check their number in the general waiting list.

Capital Development Authority has pointed out the shortcomings of the Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme, and they had been applied to the layout plan as they will be expanding the width of roads and converting them into 40 feet width and also increasing the greenery.

وفاقی حکومت کے ملازمین ای میل کے ذریعے اس فہرست میں شامل ہونے کے لئے درخواست دے سکتے ہیں یا وہ آن لائن بھی درخواست دے سکتے ہیں۔ یہ فہرست ویب سائٹ پر دستیاب ہے جس میں وہ عام منتظر فہرست میں اپنا نمبر تک رسائی حاصل کرسکتے ہیں۔
