13 Unapproved Housing Societies Sealed by ACE

The Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab, Tehsil Council Sialkot, Police Officials, and District Administration sealed 13 unapproved housing societies from various parts of Sialkot by conducting a joint operation.

ACE Punjab spokesperson said ACE received this information regarding illegal and unregistered 13 housing societies linked with greatly influential political people from District Administration.

During the media speech, he said, “Influential political leaders were running these societies through their front men. Millions of rupees loss had been incurred to public exchequer in the form of sitemap and conversion fees. A society had illegally included 281 Kanal of land after the approval of the first map which was illegal as per the Punjab government’s private housing society schemes. The society had also sold out plots from the area specified open areas such as parks, graveyard and public amenities. It was said in the reference. In the map of approved housing society only the location of graveyard could be changed and other changes would be considered illegal. Many societies were being run by a frontman of a political leader”. 

The ACE DG ensured that the matter will be investigated and those charged will be dealt with strongly under the course of law. 

اے سی ای پنجاب کے ترجمان نے بتایا کہ اے سی ای کو ضلعی انتظامیہ کے بااثر سیاسی افراد سے وابستہ غیر قانونی اور غیر رجسٹرڈ 13 ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں سے متعلق یہ معلومات موصول ہوئی ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ "بااثر سیاسی رہنما اپنے معاشرے کے مردوں کے ذریعے یہ معاشرے چلا رہے تھے۔ سائٹ کا نقشہ اور تبادلوں کی فیس کی شکل میں سرکاری خزانے کو لاکھوں روپے کا نقصان ہوا۔ ایک سوسائٹی نے پہلے نقشہ کی منظوری کے بعد 281 کنال اراضی کو غیر قانونی طور پر شامل کیا تھا جو حکومت پنجاب کی نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کی اسکیموں کے مطابق غیر قانونی تھا۔ سوسائٹی نے علاقے کے مخصوص کھلے علاقوں جیسے پارکس ، قبرستان اور عوامی سہولیات سے بھی پلاٹ فروخت کردیئے تھے۔ یہ ریفرنس میں کہا گیا تھا۔ منظور شدہ ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کے نقشے میں صرف قبرستان کا مقام ہی بدلا جاسکتا ہے اور دیگر تبدیلیاں بھی غیر قانونی سمجھی جائیں گی۔ بہت ساری معاشرے ایک سیاسی رہنما کے فرنٹ مین چلاتے ہیں۔

اے سی ای کے ڈی جی نے بتایا کہ معاملے کی مکمل تحقیقات کی جائیں گی اور ملوث طاقتور شخصیات کے خلاف سخت کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
