Karachi: Five-year program launched by UNIDO to combat the ever-increasing poverty in Pakistan, reported a news source.
The documents of the project state that €49.5 million has been allotted for this project which is backed up by the EU to support the Sindh government in the implementation of its poverty reduction strategy. This project was initiated in April 2022 and will end by March 2027. PAIDAR will be covering five districts of Sindh, which consists of Larkana, Thatta, Suhawal, Badin, and Tharparkar.
This project will focus on improving the economic development by targeting the most vulnerable and focusing on Rural Growth Centres and Urban Economic Clusters under PRS implementation.
A significant number of enterprises will be provided with the necessary financial and technical support through this program, which will aid their development. Such an initiative will also help in employment creation while also contributing financially to enhancing the livelihoods of the residents.
کراچی: پاکستان میں مسلسل بڑھتی ہوئی غربت سے نمٹنے کے لیے UNIDO کی جانب سے پانچ سالہ پروگرام شروع کیا گیا، ایک خبر رساں ذریعہ نے رپورٹ کیا۔
منصوبے کی دستاویزات میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ اس منصوبے کے لیے 49.5 ملین یورو مختص کیے گئے ہیں جسے یورپی یونین نے سندھ حکومت کی غربت میں کمی کی حکمت عملی پر عمل درآمد کے لیے تعاون فراہم کیا ہے۔ یہ منصوبہ اپریل 2022 میں شروع کیا گیا تھا اور مارچ 2027 تک ختم ہو جائے گا۔ PAIDAR سندھ کے پانچ اضلاع کا احاطہ کرے گا جو کہ لاڑکانہ، ٹھٹھہ، سہاول، بدین اور تھرپارکر پر مشتمل ہیں۔
یہ پروجیکٹ سب سے زیادہ کمزوروں کو نشانہ بناتے ہوئے معاشی ترقی کو بہتر بنانے پر توجہ مرکوز کرے گا اور PRS کے نفاذ کے تحت دیہی ترقی کے مراکز اور شہری اقتصادی کلسٹرز پر توجہ مرکوز کرے گا۔
اس پروگرام کے ذریعے بڑی تعداد میں کاروباری اداروں کو ضروری مالی اور تکنیکی مدد فراہم کی جائے گی، ��و ان کی ترقی میں معاون ثابت ہوگی۔ اس طرح کے اقدام سے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا کرنے میں بھی مدد ملے گی جبکہ رہائشیوں کی روزی روٹی بڑھانے میں مالی تعاون بھی ہوگا۔
