Three Development Schemes Approved in Lahore

The three development schemes are approved at the estimated cost of Rs 16.535 billion. The approved schemes include the addition of lanes to the Lahore Bridge and the underpass to Ghulab Devi Hospital for about Rs 1.802 billion. 

Moreover, the improvement of Shahkam Chowk Lahore, and construction of flyover in about Rs 4.385 billion. Additionally, COVID-19 responsive and various other natural calamities control program, also a sub-component national program of Water Sanitation and Hygiene for about Rs 10.348 billion.

In the 25th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of this fiscal year 2020-2021, these schemes were approved, The meeting was directed by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdul Khan Sumbal. 

Other important officials who took part in the meeting were all members of the Planning & Development Board, P&D Provincial Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, the secretaries of the relevant departments, and the various senior representative of the concerned provincial departments.

“By getting the urban development on the focused list, we can create better livelihoods and improve social and economic inclusions,” it was said by P&D Board Chairman Abdullah Khan, in this session.

The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is alert at a time to provide the best cleaning services to Lahore`s residents. LWMC CEO Imran Ali Sultan gave directions to the concerned officers to make sure to utilize all the resources available in the field for clearing the whole backlog of solid waste.

A special cleanliness operation was conducted by LWMC, after receiving too many complaints about solid waste in the city, and about 8000 tone waste was lifted from every corner of Lahore.

تینوں ترقیاتی اسکیموں کی منظوری 16.535 بلین روپے ہے۔ منظور شدہ اسکیموں میں لاہور پل ��یں گلیوں کا اضافہ اور انڈر پاس کو گلاب دیوی اسپتال میں لگ بھگ 1.802 ارب روپے شامل ہیں۔

مزید یہ کہ شاہکام چوک لاہور کی بہتری ، اور تقریبا 4. 4.385 ارب روپے میں فلائی اوور کی تعمیر۔ مزید برآں ، کوویڈ 19 جوابدہ اور مختلف قدرتی آفات پر قابو پانے والا پروگرام ، پانی کی صفائی ستھرائی اور حفظان صحت کا ایک ذیلی جزو قومی پروگرام بھی ہے جس میں تقریبا 10 10.348 بلین روپے ہیں۔

رواں مالی سال 2020-22021 کے صوبائی ترقیاتی ورکنگ پارٹی کے 25 ویں اجلاس میں ، ان اسکیموں کو منظوری دی گئی ، اجلاس کی ہدایت منصوبہ بندی اور ترقیاتی بورڈ کے چیئرمین عبد الخان سنبل نے کی۔

اجلاس میں حصہ لینے والے دیگر اہم عہدیداران میں پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ کے تمام ممبران ، پی اینڈ ڈی کے صوبائی سکریٹری عمران سکندر بلوچ ، متعلقہ محکموں کے سکریٹری اور متعلقہ صوبائی محکموں کے مختلف سینئر نمائندے شامل تھے۔

اس نشست میں پی اینڈ ڈی بورڈ کے چیئرمین عبداللہ خان نے کہا ، "مرکوز فہرست میں شہری ترقی حاصل کرکے ہم بہتر معاش پیدا کرسکیں گے اور معاشرتی اور معاشی شمولیت کو بہتر بناسکیں گے۔"

لاہوریوں کے رہائشیوں کو صفائی کی بہترین خدمات فراہم کرنے کے لئے ایک بار میں لاہور ویسٹ مینجمنٹ کمپنی (ایل ڈبلیو ایم سی) چوکس ہے۔ ایل ڈبلیو ایم سی کے سی ای او عمران علی سلطان نے متعلقہ افسران کو ہدایات دیں کہ وہ ٹھوس کوڑے دانوں کے پورے بیکلاگ کو صاف کرنے کے لئے فیلڈ میں دستیاب تمام وسائل کو بروئے کار لانا یقینی بنائیں۔

شہر میں ٹھوس کچرے کے بارے میں بہت ساری شکایات موصول ہونے کے بعد ، ایل ڈبلیو ایم سی کے ذریعہ ایک صفائی ستھرائی کا خصوصی آپریشن کیا گیا تھا ، اور لاہور کے کونے کونے سے تقریبا 8 8000 ٹون فضلہ اٹھا لیا گیا تھا۔
