The Sindh High Court directs to begin construction the Sukkur- Hyderabad highway as soon as possible

The SHC's double bench heard a plea filed by Advocate Khan Muhammad Solangi challenging the non-start of building work on the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway. During the hearing, NHA officials informed the court that financing for the construction of the highway had been provided by the government and contributors.

However, they stated that the probe into the Nowshehro Firoz corruption case has put the project on hold. Regardless of the findings, the court directed NHA to begin construction of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway immediately. The NHA informed the court that construction would begin on June 30.

The Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project's delay is driving up construction costs tremendously. Because of this, as well as the overall difficulty caused to people and companies, SHC has ordered that the project be started as soon as possible.

سندھ ہائی کورٹ کے ڈبل بنچ نے ایڈووکیٹ خان محمد سولنگی کی جانب سے سکھر حیدرآباد موٹروے پر تعمیراتی کام شروع نہ کرنے کو چیلنج کرنے والی درخواست کی سماعت کی۔
سماعت کے دوران این ایچ اے حکام نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ ہائی وے کی تعمیر کے لیے حکومت اور شراکت داروں کی جانب سے فنانسنگ فراہم کی گئی تھی۔ تاہم ان کا کہنا تھا کہ نوشہرو فیروز کرپشن کیس کی تحقیقات نے پراجیکٹ کو روک دیا ہے۔
نتائج سے قطع نظر، عدالت نے این ایچ اے کو سکھر حیدرآباد موٹروے کی تعمیر فوری شروع کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ این ایچ اے نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ 30 جون کو تعمیر شروع ہو جائے گی۔
سکھر-حیدرآباد موٹر وے منصوبے کی تاخیر سے تعمیراتی لاگت میں زبردست اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ لوگوں اور کمپنیوں کو ہونے والی مجموعی دشواری کی وجہ سے، SHC نے حکم دیا ہے کہ اس منصوبے کو جلد از جلد شروع کیا جائے۔
