Rs. 10bn approved for 4,000 apartments in LDA City

The agreement signing ceremony took place under the chair of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. The agreement for constructing 4,000 apartments for LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments over an area of 800 kanals was signed by LDA Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar and Bank of Punjab Chairman, Zafar Masood.

For this specific project, the Bank of Punjab will provide resources to the LDA. According to the agreement, the LDA will construct and allot apartments through balloting and will also be responsible for the maintenance of building infrastructure.

However, the Bank of Punjab will receive applications, issue letters of comfort to expected allottees along with the provision of loans to successful applicants. Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to provide residential facilities to the common man has been materialized by the Punjab government in collaboration with banks and the public sector.

The Chief Minister also disclosed that PC-I of Rs10 billion has also been approved to construct 4,000 apartments in the first phase. The apartment’s booking will be made through a 10 percent down payment and the rest of the payment will be made in installments, he added.

The CM was also informed that the cost of the apartment would be around 27 lacs and loans would be provided to the applicants. It was also revealed that the installments of the loans would start after possession.

معاہدے پر دستخط کی تقریب وزیر اعلی سردار عثمان بزدار کی زیر صدارت ہوئی۔ ایل ڈی اے سٹی نیا پاکستان اپارٹمنٹس کے لئے 800 کنال کے رقبے پر 4،000 اپارٹمنٹس تعمیر کرنے کے معاہدے پر ایل ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل احمد عزیز تارڑ اور بینک آف پنجاب کے چیئرمین ظفر مسعود نے دستخط کیے۔
اس مخصوص منصوبے کے لئے ، بینک آف پنجاب ایل ڈی اے کو وسائل مہیا کرے گا۔ معاہدے کے مطابق ، ایل ڈی اے بیلٹینگ کے ذریعے اپارٹمنٹس بنائے گی اور الاٹ کرے گی اور عمارت کے بنیادی ڈھانچے کی بحالی کی بھی ذمہ دار ہوگی۔
تاہم ، بینک آف پنجاب درخواستیں وصول کرے گا ، متوقع الاٹیز کو راحت کے خط جاری کرے گا اور کامیاب درخواست گزاروں کو قرضوں کی فراہمی کے ساتھ۔ وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار نے تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے بینکوں اور سرکاری شعبے کے اشتراک سے عام آدمی کو رہائشی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے منصوبے کو عملی جامہ پہنانا ہے۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے یہ انکشاف بھی کیا کہ 10 ارب روپے کے پی سی ون کو بھی پہلے مرحلے میں 4،000 اپارٹمنٹس بنانے کی منظوری دی گئی ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اپارٹمنٹ کی بکنگ 10 فیصد نیچے ادائیگی کے ذریعے کی جائے گی اور باقی ادائیگی قسطوں میں کی جائے گی۔
وزیراعلیٰ کو یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ اپارٹمنٹ کی لاگت 27 لاکھ کے لگ بھگ ہوگی اور درخواست دہندگان کو قرضے فراہم کیے جائیں گے۔ یہ انکشاف بھی ہوا کہ قرضوں کی قسطیں قبضے کے بعد شروع ہوجائیں گی۔
