Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange is likely to be completed by June 2022

According to the news sources, on this occasion, the CDA chairman directed the concerned officers to install reflectors around the Rawal Dam Interchange site to facilitate commuters as well as to complete the slip roads of the project and open them for traffic this month.

Capital Development Authority chairman directed the concerned formation to ensure high quality of construction work as well as to further accelerate the pace of work. The due date for completion of the Rawal Dam project is October 2022 but is likely to be completed earlier by June 2022, whereas the fly-over part of the interchange is being targeted to be completed by January/February 2022.

Furthermore, the CDA chairman, on the occasion of his visit to 7th Avenue Interchange, directed the concerned departments to complete the 7th Avenue Bridge by February 2022 and open it for traffic while also directed to complete the construction of the 7th Avenue Interchange by August 2022.

Furthermore, the CDA administration directed the concerned departments to expedite the work and use all the resources to complete both the projects so that the citizens do not face any problems like a traffic jam.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق اس موقع پر چیئرمین سی ڈی اے نے متعلقہ افسران کو ہدایت کی کہ راول ڈیم انٹر چینج کے اطراف میں ریفلیکٹرز نصب کر کے مسافروں کی سہولت کے ساتھ ساتھ منصوبے کی سلپ روڈز کو مکمل کرکے رواں ماہ ٹریفک کے لیے کھول دیا جائے۔
کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین نے متعلقہ فارمیشن کو ہدایت کی کہ تعمیراتی کام کے اعلیٰ معیار کو یقینی بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ کام کی رفتار کو مزید تیز کیا جائے۔ راول ڈیم منصوبے کی تکمیل کی آخری تاریخ اکتوبر 2022 ہے لیکن اس کے جون 2022 تک مکمل ہونے کا امکان ہے، جبکہ انٹر چینج کے فلائی اوور کے حصے کو جنوری/فروری 2022 تک مکمل کرنے کا ہدف ہے۔
مزید برآں، سی ڈی اے کے چیئرمین نے 7ویں ایونیو انٹر چینج کے دورے کے موقع پر متعلقہ محکموں کو 7ویں ایونیو پل کو فروری 2022 تک مکمل کرکے ٹریفک کے لیے کھولنے کی ہدایت کی جبکہ 7ویں ایونیو انٹر چینج کی تعمیر اگست 2022 تک مکمل کرنے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔ .
مزید برآں سی ڈی اے انتظامیہ نے متعلقہ محکموں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ کام کو تیز کریں اور تمام وسائل بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے دونوں منصوبوں کو مکمل کریں تاکہ شہریوں کو ٹریفک جام جیسی پریشانی کا سامنا نہ کرنا پڑے۔
