Punjab Govt. working on development projects in Bahawalpur – Commissioner

The development projects are being done to make sure that the living standards of people are raised and the lifestyle is becoming prosper and very comfortable in the city and entire province.

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Muhammad Zafar Iqbal passed remarks in the meeting held in his office and said that Spreading prosperity among the citizen and upgrading the living standards and lifestyle is the topmost priority of the government.

These projects are designed to especially benefit the people of backward areas. These people will be capable of taking the most interest in development projects through practical steps. These projects are designed to shape the future of the young generation and allow them to make the most out of their future. 

It was informed in the meeting that under the community development program phase 2, funds of an estimated worth of 2334.94 Million have been released for 261 development projects.

Correspondingly, 1050 million PKR was also released for 668 ongoing development projects of SAP Phase 1 while 1038.92 million PKR were released for 546 development projects under SAP Phase 2 in 2021. 

 Commissioner Bahawalpur warned that the delay in the completion of any of the development projects would not be treated with kindness and a complete check and balance will be kept on the activities by higher authorities.

Commissioner ordered the administrative officers to visit the sites more often and keep an eye on the development speed and progress.

بہاولپور: وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب عثمان بزدار کی نگرانی اور احکامات کے تحت ، حکومت پنجاب کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ مسلسل محنت اور جدوجہد کے ذریعے ایک منظم اور جامع طریقہ کار کے تحت ترقیاتی منصوبوں کی سرگرمیاں جاری رکھے۔

ترقیاتی منصوبے اس بات کو یقینی بنائے جارہے ہیں کہ لوگوں کے معیار زندگی کو بلند اور پورے صوبے میں طرز زندگی خوشحال اور بہت آرام دہ ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔

کمشنر بہاولپور ڈویژن محمد ظفر اقبال نے اپنے دفتر میں منعقدہ اجلاس میں تبصرے کو منظور کیا اور کہا کہ شہریوں میں خوشحالی پھیلانا اور معیار زندگی اور طرز زندگی کو اپ گریڈ کرنا حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔

یہ منصوبے پسماندہ علاقوں کے لوگوں کو خصوصی طور پر فائدہ پہنچانے کے لئے بنائے گئے ہیں۔ یہ لوگ عملی اقدامات کے ذریعے ترقیاتی منصوبوں میں زیادہ تر دلچسپی لینے کے اہل ہوں گے۔ یہ منصوبے نوجوان نسل کے مستقبل کی تشکیل اور ان کے مستقبل سے زیادہ سے زیادہ فائدہ اٹھانے کی غرض سے تیار کیے گئے ہیں۔

اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام فیز 2 کے تحت 261 ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لئے 2334.94 ملین کی لاگت کے فنڈز جاری کردیئے گئے ہیں۔

اسی مناسبت سے ، ایس اے پی فیز 1 کے 668 جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لئے 1050 ملین پی کے آر بھی جاری کیا گیا جبکہ 2021 میں ایس اے پی فیز 2 کے تحت 546 ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لئے 1038.92 ملین پی کے آر جاری کیے گئے۔

کمشنر بہاولپور نے متنبہ کیا کہ کسی بھی ترقیاتی منصوبے کی تکمیل میں تاخیر کے ساتھ حسن سلوک نہیں کیا جائے گا اور اعلی حکام کی سرگرمیوں پر مکمل چیک اینڈ بیلنس رکھا جائے گا۔

کمشنر نے انتظامی افسران کو حکم دیا کہ وہ زیادہ تر مقامات کا دورہ کریں اور ترقی کی رفتار اور پیشرفت پر نگاہ رکھیں۔
