Punjab Govt. to set up Women Protection Centers

The minister of Punjab Law and Cooperatives, Raja Basharat has said in his special speech on International Women`s Day, “Our religion and our constitution better protect all the rights of women and emphasis on giving them respect and dignified place in society.”

He further said that the government of Punjab was taking strong steps to protect women and for their welfare. "The Punjab Women Protection Authority has been activated to help women, victims of violence, while after Multan, women protection centers are being set up in Rawalpindi and Lahore."

He also said that recently, the government has passed two important bills related to women and their welfare. The bills are named as Women`s Hostels Authority bill and the Women`s enforcement share in property bill 2021. After the approval, both these bills have transformed into law. 

"Further legislation will be enacted on the directive of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to empower the women in society. Industrial homes were active in all the districts of Punjab to make women skilled while Darulaman and Kashana centers were working across the province for helpless women and orphan girls. Women were being given effective representation in every sector of life in Punjab,” The minister said at the end.

لاہور: پنجاب کے وزیر قانون و کوآپریٹو مسٹر راجہ بشارت نے حکومت پنجاب کے تحت خواتین تحفظ مراکز کے قیام کا اعلان کیا ہے۔

وزیر قانون پنجاب اور کوآپریٹیو راجہ بشارت نے یوم خواتین کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر اپنی خصوصی تقریر میں کہا ہے کہ ، "ہمارا مذہب اور ہمارا آئین خواتین کے تمام حقوق کی بہتر حفاظت کرتا ہے اور معاشرے میں ان کو عزت اور وقار بخش مقام دینے پر زور دیتا ہے۔"

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب خواتین کے تحفظ اور ان کی فلاح و بہبود کے لئے سخت اقدامات کررہی ہے۔ "پنجاب ویمن پروٹیکشن اتھارٹی کو تشدد کا نشانہ بننے والی خواتین ، خواتین کی مدد کے لئے متحرک کیا گیا ہے ، جبکہ ملتان کے بعد راولپنڈی اور لاہور میں خواتین کے تحفظ کے مراکز قائم کیے جارہے ہیں۔"

انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ حال ہی میں حکومت نے خواتین اور ان کی فلاح و بہبود سے متعلق دو اہم بل منظور کیے ہیں۔ ان بلوں کو ویمن ہاسٹلز اتھارٹی بل اور خواتین کے نفاذ کے جائیداد بل 2021 میں حصہ دینے کا نام دیا گیا ہے۔ منظوری کے بعد ، یہ دونوں بل قانون میں تبدیل ہوگئے ہیں۔

"معاشرے میں خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے کے لئے وزیر اعلی عثمان بزدار کی ہدایت پر مزید قانون سازی کی جائے گی۔ خواتین کو ہنر مند بنانے کے لئے پنجاب کے تمام اضلاع میں صنعتی گھر سرگرم ہیں جبکہ دارالامان اور کاشانہ مراکز بے بس خواتین اور یتیموں کے لئے صوبے بھر میں کام کر رہے ہیں۔ لڑکیوں کو ۔پنجاب میں زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں خواتین کو موثر نمائندگی دی جارہی ہے ، ”وزیر نے آخر میں کہا۔
