PPDWP approves seven development scheme

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved seven development schemes of various sectors at an estimated cost of Rs21.476 billion.

These schemes were approved in the eighth meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of the current fiscal year presided over by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes include Insaf Afternoon Schools Programme at a cost of Rs6.356billion, Establishment of 100-Bed Hospital in UC Lakhwanwal, Gujrat tehsil and district at a cost of Rs1.399b, Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer, etc (Revised) at a cost of Rs1.909 billion.

Also, Enhanced HIV/AIDS Control Programme Punjab (3 years phase-II Revised) at a cost of Rs2.380b, Development of Online Statistical System in Punjab at a cost of Rs496.068m, and Construction of Gated Head Regulator.

پنجاب پراونشل ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی نے 21.476 ارب روپے کی تخمینہ لاگت سے مختلف شعبوں کی سات ترقیاتی سکیموں کی منظوری دی۔

پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ کے چیئرمین عبداللہ خان سنبل کی صدارت میں رواں مالی سال کے صوبائی ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی (PDWP) کے آٹھویں اجلاس میں ان اسکیموں کی منظوری دی گئی۔

منظور شدہ ترقیاتی سکیموں میں شامل ہیں: 6.356 بلین روپے کی لاگت سے انصاف افٹرن سکولز پروگرام ، یو سی لکھنوال ، تحصیل گجرات اور ضلع میں 100 بستروں پر مشتمل ہسپتال کا قیام 1.99 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے ، ذیابیطس جیسی غیر متعدی بیماریوں کی روک تھام اور کنٹرول۔ ، ہائی بلڈ پریشر ، کینسر وغیرہ (نظر ثانی شدہ) 1.909 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے۔

نیز ، ایڈوانسڈ ایچ آئی وی/ایڈز کنٹرول پروگرام پنجاب (3 سال کا مرحلہ II نظر ثانی شدہ) 2.80 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے ، پنجاب میں آن لائن شماریاتی نظام کی ترقی 496.068 ملین روپے کی لاگت سے اور گیٹڈ ہیڈ ریگولیٹر کی تعمیر۔
