Police registered cases against 119 housing societies in Peshawar

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar had imposed a ban on all sorts of Land Transfer mutations and registries in 181 unregistered and illegal housing societies until they obtain a valid NOC from a competent forum.

Of those societies functioning in the provincial capital, 123 are located within the limits of Shah Alam tehsil, 25 in city tehsil, while 24 are in Saddar tehsil and 9 in Mattani tehsil.

A city Police official said FIR’s had been registered against illegal housing societies under Section 35 of the PDA Act, 2017, on the formal complaint of the civic agency.

He furthermore stated that PDA had begun a crackdown on illegal housing societies in the provincial capital and was collecting data following the registration of cases against 119 private societies.

He also mentioned that three FIRs had been registered against the housing societies falling in the limits of Sarband police station, six in Mathra, 14 in Michni Gate, eight in Khazana, nine in Duadzai, three in Chamkani, two in Mattani, and one each in Shahpur and Nasirbagh.

ڈپٹی کمشنر پشاور نے 181 غیر رجسٹرڈ اور غیرقانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں میں ہر قسم کے لینڈ ٹرانسفر اتپریورتنوں اور رجسٹریوں پر پابندی عائد کردی تھی جب تک کہ وہ کسی قابل فورم سے معقول این او سی حاصل نہ کریں۔
صوبائی دارالحکومت میں کام کرنے والی ان معاشروں میں سے ، 123 تحصیل شاہ عالم کی حدود میں واقع ہیں ، 25 شہر تحصیل میں ، جبکہ 24 تحصیل صدر تحصیل میں اور 9 مٹانی تحصیل میں ہیں۔
سٹی پولیس اہلکار نے بتایا کہ شہری ایجنسی کی باضابطہ شکایت پر غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے خلاف PDA ایکٹ 2017 کے سیکشن 35 کے تحت ایف آئی آر درج کی گئی تھی۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ PDA نے صوبائی دارالحکومت میں غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے خلاف کریک ڈاؤن شروع کیا ہے اور وہ 119 نجی معاشروں کے خلاف مقدمات کے اندراج کے بعد ڈیٹا اکٹھا کررہی ہے۔
انہوں نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ تھانہ سربند کی حدود میں آنے والی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے خلاف تین ، متھرا میں چھ ، مشنی گیٹ میں 14 ، خزانہ میں آٹھ ، دوادزئی میں نو ، چمکنی میں تین ، متنی میں دو اور ایک ایک میں تین ایف آئی آر درج کی گئیں
