PM Khan laid foundation stone of Central Business District in Lahore

The Prime Minister, while addressing the ceremony said that the Central Business District in Lahore will serve as a business hub and help in generating wealth. He also expressed hope that this project will generate six thousand billion rupees.

“During the first phase, the project will generate 1,300 billion rupees and the federal government will get two hundred and fifty billion rupees in taxes,” said Imran Khan.

The Prime Minister also said that the wealth generation projects are important to strengthen the economy and enable the government to return the loans.

He also mentioned the progress of the government and said that the current account surplus remained surplus during the first six months of the current fiscal year. He also praised the increase in textile exports and said that new industries are also being set up in the country.

In separate news, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that Pakistan and Qatar have signed a new LNG import agreement for 10 years. Under this agreement, Pakistan will save three hundred million dollars annually.

وزیر اعظم نے تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ لاہور میں سنٹرل بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ بزنس ہب کا کام کرے گا اور دولت پیدا کرنے میں مدد فراہم کرے گا۔ انہوں نے امید بھی ظاہر کی کہ اس منصوبے سے چھ ہزار ارب روپے پیدا ہوں گے۔
عمران خان نے کہا ، "پہلے مرحلے کے دوران ، اس منصوبے سے 1،300 بلین روپے پیدا ہوں گے اور وفاقی حکومت کو ڈھائی ارب ارب روپے ٹیکس ملیں گے۔"
وزیر اعظم نے یہ بھی کہا کہ دولت سازی کے منصوبے معیشت کو مستحکم کرنے اور حکومت کو قرضوں کی واپسی کے قابل بنانے کے لئے اہم ہیں۔
انہوں نے حکومت کی پیشرفت کے بارے میں بھی تذکرہ کیا اور کہا کہ رواں مالی سال کے پہلے چھ ماہ کے دوران کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ سرپلس زائد رہا۔ انہوں نے ٹیکسٹائل کی برآمدات میں اضافے کو بھی سراہا اور کہا کہ ملک میں نئی صنعتیں بھی قائم کی جارہی ہیں۔
ایک علیحدہ خبر میں ، وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے اعلان کیا کہ پاکستان اور قطر نے 10 سال کے لئے ایل این جی درآمد کے ایک نئے معاہدے پر دستخط کیے ہیں۔ اس معاہدے کے تحت پاکستان کو سالانہ تین سو ملین ڈالر کی بچت ہوگی۔
