PM Imran Khan visited Dasu Dam Project Site

Prime Minister Imran Khan took the initiative of visiting the Dasu Dam construction site to examine the progress of the project.

During the visit, the PM was informed by the project’s foreign workers, and engineers. During a press conference, the Prime Minister highlighted that dam building is critical for the country since it would assist overcome the challenges of power generation and water shortage.

He also stated that this project will deliver clean, and low-cost electricity to meet the country’s power demands. It will also lessen the burden on consumers, and aid in the reduction of inflation.

The first phase of the project would be complete by 2025 and will cost PKR 511 billion. The project will contribute 2,160 megawatts of power to the national grid.

Whenever it reaches the second phase in 2029, the capacity will rise to 4,320 megawatts.

انہوں نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ یہ منصوبہ ملک کی بجلی کی طلب کو پورا کرنے کے لئے صاف اور کم لاگت بجلی فراہم کرے گا۔ اس سے صارفین پر بھی بوجھ کم ہوگا ، اور مہنگائی میں کمی میں مدد ملے گی۔

اس منصوبے کا پہلا مرحلہ 2025 تک مکمل ہوجائے گا ، اور اس پر پی کے آر 511 ارب لاگت آئے گی۔ اس منصوبے سے قومی گرڈ میں 2،160 میگا واٹ بجلی کی شراکت ہوگی۔

جب بھی یہ 2029 میں دوسرے ��رحلے میں پہنچے گا ، تو اس کی گنجائش 4،320 میگا واٹ ہوجائے گی۔
