People should check legal status of housing scheme prior to buying plot: DG FDA

Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has made the private housing societies management bound to display informative boards at a conspicuous place of main gates of their respective housing scheme pertaining to all necessary details about the housing scheme for the awareness of the society.

FDA Director-General Dr. Faisal Azim has directed the officers of the FDA Town Planning Directorate to get this policy to be implemented in letter & spirit by mobilising the developers and this task should be completed within a week positively.

The compliance certificate would be provided after completion of the task within the stipulated time, the DG FDA ordered.

It has been explained that the informative boards should be contained of map of the approved area of the housing scheme, FDA approval, total land, details of plots, mortgaged land, identification of land specified for public buildings, and other necessary information. Moreover, a map of blocks should be affixed at the entrance of each block. 

According to the FDA Director-General Dr. Faisal Azim, this policy was being implemented strictly to curb the housing society scam threats. He said that purpose of these steps to keep the private housing schemes affairs transparent and organized to avoid any fraud and forgery with the citizens.

He said that the interest of the public would be safeguarded by FDA, however, the people should check the legal status of any housing scheme before buying the plot so that their lifelong earning could be saved.

فیصل آباد: ڈی جی ایف ڈی اے نے کہا کہ لوگوں کو پلاٹ خریدنے سے پہلے ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کی قانونی حیثیت کو جانچنا چاہئے۔ فیصل آباد ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایف ڈی اے) نے نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کو انتظامیہ کو پابند بنایا ہے کہ وہ معاشرے میں بیداری کے لئے رہائشی سکیم کے بارے میں تمام ضروری تفصیلات سے متعلق اپنے متعلقہ ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کے اہم دروازوں کی نمایاں جگہ پر معلوماتی بورڈ آویزاں کریں۔ ایف ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ڈاکٹر فیصل عظیم نے ایف ڈی اے ٹاؤن پلاننگ ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے افسران کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ اس پالیسی کو ڈویلپرز کو متحرک کرکے خط و جذبے کے تحت نافذ کریں اور یہ کام ایک ہفتے میں مثبت طور پر مکمل کیا جائے۔ ڈی جی ایف ڈی اے نے حکم دیا کہ تعمیل سرٹیفکیٹ مقررہ مدت میں کام مکمل ہونے کے بعد فراہم کیا جائے گا۔ اس کی وضاحت کی گئی ہے کہ معلوماتی بورڈز میں ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کے منظور شدہ رقبے کا نقشہ ، ایف ڈی اے کی منظوری ، کل اراضی ، پلاٹوں کی تفصیلات ، رہن والی زمین ، سرکاری عمارتوں کے لئے مختص اراضی کی نشاندہی اور دیگر ضروری معلومات موجود ہوں۔ مزید یہ کہ ہر بلاک کے داخلی راستے پر بلاکس کا نقشہ چسپاں کرنا چاہئے۔ ایف ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ڈاکٹر فیصل عظیم کے مطابق ، ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی گھوٹالے کے خطرات کو روکنے کے لئے اس پالیسی کو سختی سے نافذ کیا جارہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ نجی ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں کے معاملات کو شفاف اور منظم رکھنے کے لئے ان اقدامات کا مقصد شہریوں کے ساتھ کسی دھوکہ دہی اور جعلسازی سے بچنے کے لئے ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایف ڈی اے کے ذریعہ عوام کے مفادات کا تحفظ کیا جائے گا ، تاہم عوام پلاٹ خریدنے سے قبل کسی بھی ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کی قانونی حیثیت کو چیک کریں تاکہ ان کی تاحیات آمدنی بچائی جاسکے۔
