Pakistan Navy inaugurates construction of fourth MILGEM Corvette

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was the chief guest of the ceremony.

While addressing on Tuesday, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) lauded the mutual cooperation between the Ministry of Defence Production, Pakistan Navy, Karachi Shipyard, and Turkish Company for the construction of battleships.

It is pertinent to state here that the induction of MILGEM-class corvette ships will enhance Pakistan Navy’s capability to cope with conventional and non-conventional threats.

CNS emphasized that the ship will be equipped with the latest weapons, and sensors.

منگل کے روز خطاب کرتے ہوئے چیف آف دی نیول اسٹاف (سی این ایس) نے وزارت دفاعی پیداوار ، پاک بحریہ ، کراچی شپ یارڈ ، اور ترک کمپنی کے درمیان لڑاکا جہازوں کی تعمیر کے لئے باہمی تعاون کو سراہا۔

یہاں یہ بتانا مناسب ہے کہ ملگم کلاس کارویٹ جہازوں کی شمولیت سے پاکستان نیوی کی روایتی اور غیر روایتی خطرات سے نمٹنے کی صلاحیت میں اضافہ ہوگا۔

سی این ایس نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ جہاز جدید ہتھیاروں ، اور سینسروں سے لیس ہوگا۔
