Pakistan Navy distributes ration, personal protective equipment across Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistan Navy is extending nationwide humanitarian assistance to aggrieved families during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and distributed food, commodities, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in various cities, towns, and hospitals across the country.
According to the press release by Pakistan Navy, thousands of ration bags carrying food items and personal protective supplies were distributed to the needy families residing at Ibrahim Hydari area in Karachi.
This ration distribution drive also continued in the major cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Muzaffargarh. Moreover, in addition to the ration bags, the Pakistan Navy in collaboration with philanthropist association distributed kits of Personal Protective suits along with other necessary equipment to different authorities and hospitals of Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.
Pakistan Navy has taken wide-reaching food relief measures for distant localities where thousands of ration bags were distributed to the rural villages, Goths of Coastal and Creek areas including Gwadar, Surbandar, Pasni, Bin Qasim, Jiwani, Keti Bandar, Chuhar Jamali, Jati, and more.
Pakistan Navy has also parceled out a large quantity of ration at Ormara amongst the local populace. Besides the food distribution activities, Pakistan Navy is also conducting awareness campaigns to help in countering the challenge of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.
