No shortage of COVID19 Vaccine

Parliamentary Secretary of National Health Services Dr Nausheen Hamid assured that the government was closely monitoring the vaccine availability in centers, and reports about lessening of Covid-19 vaccine at corona vaccination centers are baseless.

“There was ample stock of vaccine and vaccination was continuing at centers as per schedule but in some areas due to rush of eligible citizens we faced shortage report which was later re located and resolved the issue on immediately basis”, she said so.

Nausheen Hamid said the federal government is in the process to get hold of Sinopharm, and CanSino from China.

Two batches of the vaccines, including 3 million doses of CanSino Biologics, and 4 million Sinopharm vaccine will reach Pakistan by the end of this month.

پارلیمانی سکریٹری برائے قومی صحت خدمات ڈاکٹر نوشین حامد نے یقین دلایا کہ حکومت مراکز میں ویکسین کی دستیابی پر کڑی نظر رکھے ہوئے ہے ، اور کورونا ویکسینیشن مراکز میں کوویڈ ۔19 ویکسین کم کرنے کی اطلاعات بے بنیاد ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا ، "مراکز میں شیڈول کے مطابق ویکسین کا کافی ذخیرہ موجود تھا لیکن کچھ علاقوں میں اہل شہریوں کی رش کی وجہ سے ہمیں قلت کی اطلاع کا سامنا کرنا پڑا جو بعد میں واقع ہوا اور فوری طور پر اس مسئلے کو حل کیا گیا۔"

نوشین حامد نے کہا کہ وفاقی حکومت چین سے سینوفرم اور کین سینو کو حاصل کرنے کے لئے تیار ہے۔

کینسنو بائولوجکس کی 30 لاکھ خوراکوں سمیت ویکسین کی دو کھیپیاں ، اور 4 لاکھ سونوفرم ویکسین رواں ماہ کے آخر تک پاکستان پہنچیں گی۔
