The development portfolio covers more than 2,000 schemes. This includes 1,400 for the settled districts, 360 for the tribal districts, and lastly, 331 under the accelerated implementation programme for merged districts.

These 2,000 schemes target both new, and old schemes. While 74% of the Rs.205.8 billion development budget released, has already been utilized for the outgoing fiscal year 2021-22.

Whereas, the revised allocation for the accelerated implementation programme was set to Rs.14 billion. Out of the total amount, Rs.37.1 billion was released to the concerned departments who utilized Rs.208 billion by May.
