Govt will spend Rs400b on Universal Health Insurance Programme: CM

According to the news sources, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s dream of providing the best healthcare facilities to people has emerged through Naya Pakistan National Health Card scheme.

According to the details, the facility had been introduced in the Rawalpindi division today to accommodate about three million families to avail the free treatment of one million rupees per annum through 56 hospitals on the panel.

While addressing the launching ceremony of the New Pakistan National Health Card at the PM

Office in Islamabad on Wednesday, Usman Buzdar said the Punjab government would spend Rs400 billion on Universal Health Insurance Programme and by the end of March, every family in Punjab would have access to free treatment through this card.

He further added that 110 million people of 36 districts of Punjab would benefit from this historic program. The CM said the Punjab government had paid special attention to the development of the health sector and Punjab would be developed as a model province for providing health facilities.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سردار عثمان بزدار نے کہا ہے کہ نیا پاکستان نیشنل ہیلتھ کارڈ سکیم کے ذریعے وزیراعظم عمران خان کا عوام کو صحت کی بہترین سہولیات کی فراہمی کا خواب پورا ہو گیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق راولپنڈی ڈویژن میں پینل پر موجود 56 ہسپتالوں کے ذریعے تقریباً 30 لاکھ خاندانوں کو سالانہ 10 لاکھ روپے کے مفت علاج کی سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے یہ سہولت آج سے متعارف کرائی گئی ہے۔
وزیراعظم نے نیا پاکستان نیشنل ہیلتھ کارڈ کی تقریب رونمائی سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔
بدھ کو اسلام آباد میں دفتر، عثمان بزدار نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت یونیورسل ہیلتھ انشورنس پروگرام پر 400 ارب روپے خرچ کرے گی اور مارچ کے آخر تک پنجاب میں ہر خاندان کو اس کارڈ کے ذریعے مفت علاج کی سہولت میسر ہو گی۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس تاریخی پروگرام سے پنجاب کے 36 اضلاع کے 110 ملین لوگ مستفید ہوں گے۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت نے صحت کے شعبے کی ترقی پر خصوصی توجہ دی ہے اور صحت کی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے حوالے سے پنجاب کو ایک ماڈل صوبہ بنایا جائے گا۔
