Govt. decides to divide Lahore into two districts

According to the experts, the decision of dividing Lahore into two parts will help to solve the problems of the citizen and also boost the business activities of diversified sectors. The Punjab Government has given the deadline of 10th December to prepare a proposal in this matter. Chief Minister of Punjab will give the final approval. 

After the Punjab Government decided to Lahore administration on the lines of Karachi, the chief secondary formed a committee headed by Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar to work on the proposal.

The committee formed in this regard includes Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Lahore along with other departments like Police and Revenue department. All of the members will be submitting their reports to the chief secretary within the due date after analyzing the financial and administrative aspects of the dividing decision.

ماہرین کے مطابق ، لاہور کو دو حصوں میں تقسیم کرنے کے فیصلے سے شہریوں کی مشکلات کو حل کرنے میں مدد ملے گی اور متنوع شعبوں کی کاروباری سرگرمیوں کو بھی فروغ ملے گا۔ حکومت پنجاب نے اس معاملے میں تجویز تیار کرنے کے لئے 10 دسمبر کی ڈیڈ لائن دے دی ہے۔ وزیر اعلی پنجاب حتمی منظوری دیں گے۔

جب حکومت پنجاب نے کراچی کی طرز پر لاہور انتظامیہ کا فیصلہ کیا تو ، چیف سیکنڈری نے سینئر ممبر بورڈ آف ریونیو بابر حیات تارڑ کی سربراہی میں ایک کمیٹی تشکیل دی جس کی تجویز پر کام کیا جائے۔

اس ضمن میں تشکیل دی گئی کمیٹی میں کمشنر ، ڈپٹی کمشنر لاہور کے ساتھ پولیس اور محکمہ ریونیو جیسے دیگر محکموں کو بھی شامل کیا گیا ہے۔ تقسیم کے فیصلے کے مالی اور انتظامی پہلوؤں کا تجزیہ کرنے کے بعد تمام ممبران اپنی رپورٹس مقررہ تاریخ کے اندر چیف سیکرٹری کو پیش کریں گے۔
