Government to announce Kamyab Pakistan Programme

The government is all set to announce Kamyab Pakistan Programme on August 9 for extending micro-loans to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and farmers at 0% markup without collateral. 

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin on Wednesday chaired a consultative meeting on Kamyab Pakistan Programme. SAPM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and senior officials of the ministry of finance also attended the meeting. 

It was decided in the meeting that Prime Minister Imran Khan would launch the program on August 9. Finance Minister said that the government has decided to accelerate the pace of projects of public welfare in the country.

He further said that housing projects, skill development, and loans would be available under the aforesaid program. The government would also include health cards and agriculture services in the program. 

According to the Ministry of Finance, the key focus is to provide loans to 4.5 million households at the lowest strata, registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) of the Ehsaas Programme.

The Kamyab Pakistan Programme reflects the firm commitment of the government in pursuing pro-people agenda and developing Pakistan into a welfare state in line with the principles of Riasat-e-Madina.

The cumulative disbursement under the program would be Rs1.6 trillion over the period of the next 03-05 years and shall benefit 3,000,000 families which makes this program one of the largest of its kind in the world.

حکومت 9 اگست کو کامیاب پاکستان پروگرام کا اعلان کرنے کے لیے تیار ہے تاکہ تاجروں ، چھوٹے کاروباریوں اور کسانوں کو مائیکرو قرضے بغیر کسی ضمانت کے 0٪ مارک اپ پر بڑھا سکیں۔

وفاقی وزیر خزانہ و محصولات شوکت ترین نے بدھ کو کامیاب پاکستان پروگرام کے حوالے سے مشاورتی اجلاس کی صدارت کی۔ ایس اے پی ایم آن یوتھ افیئرز عثمان ڈار اور وزارت خزانہ کے اعلیٰ حکام نے بھی اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان 9 اگست کو پروگرام کا آغاز کریں گے۔ وزیر خزانہ نے کہا کہ حکومت نے ملک میں عوامی فلاح و بہبود کے منصوبوں کی رفتار کو تیز کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ مذکورہ پروگرام کے تحت ہاؤسنگ پراجیکٹس ، سکل ڈویلپمنٹ اور قرضے دستیاب ہوں گے۔ حکومت پروگرام میں صحت کارڈ اور زراعت کی خدمات بھی شامل کرے گی۔

وزارت خزانہ کے مطابق ، اہم توجہ 4.5 ملین گھرانوں کو قرضوں کی فراہمی ہے جو احساس پروگرام کی قومی سماجی اقتصادی رجسٹری (NSER) میں رجسٹرڈ ہیں۔

کامیاب پاکستان پروگرام ریاضت مدینہ کے اصولوں کے مطابق پاکستان نواز فلاحی ایجنڈے پر عمل کرنے اور پاکستان کو فلاحی ریاست بنانے میں حکومت کے پختہ عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔

پروگرام کے تحت مجموعی ادائیگی اگلے 03-05 سالوں میں 1.6 ٹریلین روپے ہوگی اور اس سے 3 لاکھ 50 ہزار خاندانوں کو فائدہ پہنچے گا جو اس پروگرام کو دنیا میں اپنی نوعیت کا سب سے بڑا بناتا ہے۔
