Government prepares a plan for Parking Mafia in Lahore

According to details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Lahore Division Captain R Muhammad Usman on development works and civic amenities of the city. In which it has been decided to implement uniform parking rates in the city.

Rates will be the same for parking in all parking sites, shopping malls, commercial plazas, and private plots in Lahore. Commissioner Lahore Captain R Muhammad Usman said that MCL should formulate immediate proposals and plans for uniform rates and action should be taken against those who do not implement them.

He said that different parking rates are not acceptable in the city, collection of additional parking fees and extortion will not be accepted. Parking will be provided at the rates we have specified;otherwise, legal action will be taken. A parking rate will be charged in the city and construction of illegal buildings will be stopped on priority basis. Illegal markets should not be allowed to operate under any circumstances.

He said that a plan of action should also be formulated against illegal slaughter houses. A literature club should be set up in Lahore, where people can come and work on literature. Lahore has been given the status of City of Literature. By publishing a complete magazine on MCL Literature. Briefing the meeting, it was informed that the total number of complaints on the Prime Minister's Complaints Portal is 23,294, 831 new complaints, 257 in processions, 22,206 solutions while 3,054 satisfied citizens which is only 25 percent.

The meeting was attended by PS2 Administrator MianWaheedAlzaman, Director Admin Amin Akbar Chopra, Deputy Chief Officer Sardar Naseer, Chief Infrastructure Officer Qayyum Khan Niazi, Anwar Javed, Chief Finance Officer Yousuf Sindhu, Chief Planning Officer Chaudhry Ashraf, Administrator Lari Ada Ahmed Butt. Chief Regulation Officer Zubair Wattoo, Finance Officer Nadeem Tahir, Director Civic Services Sarfraz Hussain and Director Workshop Malik among others participated.

تفصیلات کے مطابق کمشنر لاہور ڈویثرن کیپٹن ر محمد عثمان کی زیر صدارت شہر کے ترقیاتی کاموں اور شہری سہولیات بارے اہم اجلاس ہوا۔ جس میں شہر میں یکساں پارکنگ ریٹس پر عملدرآمد کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ لاہور کی تمام پارکنگ سائٹس، شاپنگ مالز، کمرشل پلازوں، پرائیویٹ پلاٹس میں کی جانیوالی پارکنگ پر ریٹس یکساں کیے جائیں گے۔ کمشنر لاہور کیپٹن ر محمد عثمان کا کہنا ہے کہ یکساں ریٹس کے لئے ایم سی ایل فوری تجاویز و پلان مرتب کرے، عملدرآمد نہ کرنے والوں کے خلاف کروائی کی جائے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ شہر میں مختلف پارکنگ ریٹس قابل قبول نہیں، اضافی پارکنگ فیسوں کی وصولی اور بھتہ خوری قبول نہیں کی جائیگی۔ ہمارے بتائے ہوئے ریٹس پر ہی پارکنگ کروائی جائے گی، ورنہ قانون کارروائی کی جائیگی۔ شہر میں ایک پارکںگ ریٹ وصول کیا جائے گا اور غیر قانونی عمارات کی تعمیر کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر روکا جائے گا۔ غیر قانونی منڈیوں کو کسی صورت منڈیاں چلانے کی اجازت نہ دی جائے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ غیر قانونی سلاٹر ہاؤسز کے خلاف کارروائیوں کا پلان بھی مرتب کیا جائے۔ لاہور میں ایک لٹریچر کلب بنایا جائے، جہاں لوگ آکر لٹریچر پر کام کریں، لاہور کو سٹی آف لٹریچر کا درجہ دیا گیا ہے۔ ایم سی ایل لٹریچر پر پورا ایک میگزین شائع کیا کر۔ اجلاس میں بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا گیا کہ پرائم منسٹر کمپلینٹ پورٹل پر ٹوٹل شکایات 23 ہزار 294، نئی شکایات 831، ان پراسیس 257، حل 22 ہزار 206 جبکہ مطمئن شہری 3 ہزار 54 ہیں جو کہ صرف 25 فیصد ہے۔

اجلاس میں پی ایس ٹو ایڈمنسٹریٹر میاں وحید الزماں، ڈائریکٹر ایڈمن امین اکبر چوپڑا، ڈپٹی چیف آفیسر سردار نصیر، چیف انفراسٙرکچر افیسر قیوم خان نیازی، انور جاوید، چیف فنانس آفیسر یوسف سندھو، چیف پلاننگ آفیسر چودھری اشرف، ایڈمنسٹریٹر لاری اڈا احمد بٹ، چیف ریگولیشن افیسر زبیر وٹو، فنانس افیسر ندیم طاہر، ڈائریکٹر شہری سہولیات سرفراز حسین اور ڈائریکٹر ورکشاپ ملک غیاث سمیت دیگر نے شرکت کی۔
