Fires around NUST and other areas successfully controlled by City Managers

The three other spots afflicted by the fire are Talhar Village, Srinagar Highway, and Kashmir Chowk. The fire was, however, controlled quick enough by the swift reacting concerned formations of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad and CDA.

This situation started after a fire broke out in a forest in Sector H-12 of Islamabad and reached the surroundings of NUST. Soon after the emergence of the fire at multiple locations, the vehicles of the fire brigade were moved on the spot to avoid any losses.

The PM directed the city managers to take emergency measures after the situation was controlled. Immediate steps were also taken to evacuate the people from the affected areas.

یہ صورتحال اسلام آباد کے سیکٹر H-12 کے جنگل میں آگ لگنے کے بعد شروع ہوئی اور NUST کے گردونواح تک جا پہنچی۔ متعدد مقامات پر آگ لگنے کے فوراً بعد فائر بریگیڈ کی گاڑیوں کو موقع پر منتقل کر دیا گیا تاکہ کسی نقصان سے بچا جا سکے۔
وزیراعظم نے صورتحال پر قابو پانے کے بعد سٹی مینیجرز کو ہنگامی اقدامات کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ متاثرہ علاقوں سے لوگوں کو نکالنے کے لیے بھی فوری اقدامات کیے گئے۔
