Development of highways to bring new era of economic development in Balochistan

Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed said the construction, and expansion of highways under CPEC will not only usher in a new era of economic development in remote areas of Balochistan but also pave the way for economic development in the entire region.

According to a state issued here, Murad said that Prime Minister Imran Khan not only promised the development and prosperity of the backward and deprived areas but also took practical steps for it.

The minister said in comparison to the rulers of the past, PM Imran paid special attention to the development of Balochistan and expressed interest in the resolution of problems of Balochistan and its people.

He said that previous regimes had claimed that they built roads in the past but ignored the province due to less no of seats in Balochistan.

“We have always strived hard to put Balochistan on a path to a prosperous, peaceful and developed province where the people should have equal access to health, education, clean drinking water, employment and business facilities,” he said.

Murad Saeed said that this was not just our claim, nor was it a dream, but over the past three years, we have begun to move in the right direction to put these initiatives practically with positive results. 

He said the people of the province were also witnessing these changes themselves.

اسلام آباد: مراد سعید نے کہا کہ بلوچستان میں معاشی ترقی کا نیا دور لانے کے لیے شاہراہوں کی ترقی۔

وزیر مواصلات اور پوسٹل سروسز مراد سعید نے کہا کہ سی پیک کے تحت شاہراہوں کی تعمیر اور توسیع نہ صرف بلوچستان کے دور دراز علاقوں میں معاشی ترقی کے نئ�� دور کا آغاز کرے گی بلکہ پورے خطے میں معاشی ترقی کی راہ ہموار کرے گی۔

یہاں جاری ریاست کے مطابق مراد نے کہا کہ وزیراعظم عمران خان نے نہ صرف پسماندہ اور محروم علاقوں کی ترقی اور خوشحالی کا وعدہ کیا بلکہ اس کے لیے عملی اقدامات بھی کیے۔

وزیر نے کہا کہ ماضی کے حکمرانوں کے مقابلے میں ، وزیر اعظم عمران نے بلوچستان کی ترقی پر خصوصی توجہ دی اور بلوچستان اور اس کے لوگوں کے مسائل کے حل میں دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ سابقہ حکومتوں نے دعویٰ کیا تھا کہ انہوں نے ماضی میں سڑکیں بنائیں لیکن بلوچستان میں نشستیں کم ہونے کی وجہ سے صوبے کو نظر انداز کیا۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے ہمیشہ بلوچستان کو ایک خوشحال ، پرامن اور ترقی یافتہ صوبے کے راستے پر ڈالنے کی کوشش کی ہے جہاں لوگوں کو صحت ، تعلیم ، پینے کے صاف پانی ، روزگار اور کاروباری سہولیات تک مساوی رسائی حاصل ہو۔

مراد سعید نے کہا کہ یہ صرف ہمارا دعویٰ نہیں تھا اور نہ ہی یہ خواب تھا بلکہ گزشتہ تین سالوں سے ہم نے ان اقدامات کو عملی طور پر مثبت نتائج کے ساتھ صحیح سمت میں منتقل کرنا شروع کیا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے کے لوگ خود بھی ان تبدیلیوں کو دیکھ رہے ہیں۔
